IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) Expertise
Development: Proficiency in designing and developing message flows using IBM Integration Bus (IIB) or ACE (v11/v12/v13).
Nodes & Protocols: Deep understanding of built-in nodes (HTTP, SOAP, Graphical Mapper, Filter, Compute) and various protocols like MQ, and FTP/SFTP.
Mapping & Transformation: Skills with: ESQL (Extended Structured Query Language).
Integration & Middleware Concepts
Architecture Patterns: Strong grasp of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Event-Driven Architecture (EDA).
API Management: Knowledge of RESTful API design (OpenAPI/Swagger) and integration with API gateways like Layer7 or DataPower.
Messaging Queues: Hands-on experience with IBM MQ, including topics and queue definitions.
Data Formats: Expert-level command over XML, JSON, EDI, and COBOL copybooks.
Cloud & Modern Infrastructure
Containerization: Experience deploying integration solutions on Docker and Kubernetes (specifically Red Hat OpenShift for IBM Cloud Pak for Integration).
Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with integrating on-premise systems with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or IBM Cloud).
