We are looking for a highly skilled 3D Character Artist with rigging expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate should be proficient in creating characters from scratch and rigging them for Unity and Unreal Engine. The role requires a keen eye for detail and a passion for bringing characters to life.
Responsibilities:
- Create 3D characters from concept art or references, adhering to project specifications and style
- Design and implement realistic or stylized facial expressions using blend shapes and rigging techniques
- Create efficient and optimized character rigs for animation, including skinning and weight painting
- Collaborate with the art and animation team to ensure consistency of character design and quality across all assets
- Troubleshoot and fix technical issues related to rigging, animation, and integration into game engines
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques, continuously improving skills and workflows
Requirements:
- Proficiency in 3D modeling and texturing using software such as Maya, 3ds Max, or and any major 3D softwares.
- Strong knowledge of character rigging techniques, including skinning, weight painting, and blend shapes
- Experience in creating characters for Unity and Unreal Engine, and knowledge of their respective pipelines and limitations
- Understanding of human anatomy, facial expressions, and body mechanics
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- A portfolio demonstrating high-quality character modeling, rigging, and animation work

Job Description:
- Creating detailed inorganic and organic 3D models i.e. characters, props, layouts, machines, natural features and environments.
- Creating highly detailed textures.
- Doing rigging, organic and inorganic animations.
- Ensuring that artwork is optimised for Web browsers.
- Managing and working in coordination with other team members.
- Working on multiple projects at given time.
- Managing entire game projects from creative and graphic perspective.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in designing high as well as low poly models.
- Must have an expert knowledge of Maya, Zbrush, Substance Painter, Photoshop, After effects.
- Knowledge of 2D and 3D animations is a huge advantage.
- Good knowledge of lighting and technical details in Unity is a plus.
- Must be very creative and should have a keen eye for detail.
- Should be able to work well under pressure and adhere to deadlines without compromising on the quality.
