Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Defender Antivirus Engineer with 3–8 years of experience in endpoint security and Microsoft security solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Intune, and Office 365 to manage enterprise endpoint protection, security monitoring, device management, and incident response. The candidate will play a key role in ensuring the organization's security posture through proactive monitoring, threat detection, and endpoint compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and manage Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Microsoft Defender Antivirus.
• Configure, monitor, and maintain Microsoft Sentinel for security monitoring, threat detection, and incident response.
• Manage endpoint devices, policies, and compliance using Microsoft Intune.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365 (Office 365) services, including security configurations.
• Monitor security alerts, investigate incidents, and perform root cause analysis.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation activities.
• Ensure endpoint protection policies, antivirus updates, and security compliance are maintained.
• Implement security best practices for endpoint and cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot endpoint security, device management, and Microsoft 365-related issues.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams to enhance enterprise security.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Microsoft Defender Antivirus.
• Experience administering Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM/SOAR).
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Intune for endpoint and device management.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 / Office 365 Administration.
• Knowledge of endpoint security, threat detection, and incident response.
• Experience with security monitoring, vulnerability management, and compliance.
• Good understanding of Windows Server and Windows endpoint administration.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

2. MONITORING END POINTS AND DAILY UPDATE TOBE PUSHED THROUGH SERVER AV CONSOLE
3. RCA for non-updating of end points and remote resolution.
4. Interacting with OEM to fix.
5. SQL Data base  Troubleshooting/Restoring Database.
6. Automated the process of vulnerability management and policy compliance across the enterprise; provide network discovery and mapping, asset prioritization,
7. Good  speak and write English Communication
8. Able to work shift basis

• Infrastructure support and escalation management
• Effective management of infrastructure
• Proactive maintenance of Infrastructure at branches and HO
• Timely closure of tickets with in SLA

• Maintaining 100% uptime of Network.
• Proactive monitoring maintenance of network and Internet bandwidth

• Maintaining the working condition of the IT assets.
• Preparing the IT assets for the new joinees in a timely and effective manner.

• On-time execution of assigned projects;
• Proper utilization of the existing and newly added infra tools and assets. i.e EPM, Antivirus, etc.

• Ensure the regular Security measures are taken on the infrastructure.
• Ensure the process adherence as per IT Policies

• 3 + years of overall experience in IT Infrastructure domain.
• Degree in Computer Sciences / IT or equivalent

• Keen interest in experimenting with new Technology/gadgets/systems
• Should take the responsibility for Infrastructure needs and fulfill the same
• Should be a great team player and a good manager
• A great multitasker who should be able to work in a demanding environment
