As a Senior Security Operations Engineer, you will be an integral part of Qualys SOC (Security Operation Center) and CSIRT (Cyber Security Incident Response Team) contributing to the day-to-day activities aimed at governing entire incident management lifecycle from incident monitoring, triaging, analyzing, and responding to security incidents. This role requires a solid understanding of security technologies, incident triage/investigation & incident response, and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential threats. You will leverage advanced cybersecurity tools and techniques to monitor and secure Qualys infrastructure/systems, Qualys Cloud Platforms, respond to alerts, investigate potential threats, and proactively work for mitigation of identified cyber threats/incidents. At the same time, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance to other SOC engineers in the team and working closely with SOC/CSIRT leadership to improve the organization’s security posture.

Strong MERN / Frontend Developer Profile

Mandatory (Experience 1): Must have 2+ years of hands-on experience in software development using MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js)

Mandatory (Experience 2): Must have 1+ years of frontend development experience with React.js, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+);

Mandatory (Experience 3): Must have experience with Next.js (SSR/SSG, API routes, Server Actions)

Mandatory (Experience 4): Hands-on experience in building RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js

Mandatory (Experience 5): Experience writing unit test cases using Mocha, Chai, Jest (or similar), and working in Agile/Scrum environments

Preferred

Preferred (Experience) – Exposure to GCP/AWS/DevOps and cloud-native development

• Proficient in testing methodologies and tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Jest.
• Strong understanding of version control systems like Git.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

• Conceptualize from scratch our multi pronged marketing strategy - SEO (blog, newsletter), social media (linkedin, twitter), community, education (webinars, podcasts), partnerships etc
• Understand our user/buyer persona, empathize with them, conceptualize relevant content topics, and work with content writers to push high quality content on various platforms
• Identify the right keywords for Zenskar to optimize on - both head, and long tail
• Iterate to figure out the correct tone for our social media communication, and build relevant audience on social platforms
• Reach out to industry influencers, collaborate with them and organize webinars, podcasts etc with the intent to establish Zenskar as an authority in the industry
