We are seeking a skilled and proactive Cloud Administrator with strong hands-on experience in Azure and AWS environments. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Kubernetes administration, ArgoCD, MySQL, and GitLab, with a keen eye for cloud optimization and security best practices.

This role demands a self-motivated, quick learner who can confidently manage cloud infrastructure in production environments, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and escalate issues promptly when needed.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
• Proven expertise in Kubernetes administration (certification a plus).
• Experience with ArgoCD, GitLab CI/CD, and Helm.
• Proficiency in MySQL administration, including performance tuning and backups.
• Working knowledge of cloud security principles and cost optimization strategies.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues in high-pressure production environments.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.

As a DevOps Engineer you have a passion for automation, security and building reliable expandable systems. You develop scripts and tools to automate deployment tasks and monitor critical aspects of the operation, resolve engineering problems and incidents. Collaborate with architects and developers to help create platforms for the future.

Your Team Mates

The DevOps team works closely with game developers, front-end and back-end server developers making, updating and monitoring application stacks in the cloud.Each team member has specific responsibilities with their own projects to manage and bring their own ideas to how the projects should work.  Everyone strives for the most efficient, secure and automated delivery of application code and supporting infrastructure.

What Does The Job Actually Involve?

• Find ways to automate tasks and monitoring systems to continuously  improve our systems.

• Develop scripts and tools to make our infrastructure resilient and efficient.

• Understand our applications and services and keep them running smoothly.

Your Hard Skills

• Minimum 1 years of experience on a dev ops engineering role

• Deep experience with Linux and Unix systems

• Networking basics knowledge (named, nginx, etc)

• Some coding experience  (Python, Ruby, Perl, etc.)

• Experience with common automation tools (Ex. Chef, Terraform, etc)

• AWS experience is a plus

• A creative mindset motivated by challenges and constantly striving for the best

• Seeking an Individual carrying around 5+ yrs of experience.
• Must have skills - Jenkins, Groovy, Ansible, Shell Scripting, Python, Linux Admin
• Terraform, AWS deep knowledge to automate and provision EC2, EBS, SQL Server, cost optimization, CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins, Server less automation is plus.
• Excellent writing and communication skills in English. Enjoy writing crisp and understandable documentation
• Comfortable programming in one or more scripting languages
• Enjoys tinkering with tooling. Find easier ways to handle systems by doing some research. Strong awareness around build vs buy.

At Neurosensum we are committed to make customer feedback more actionable. We have developed a platform called SurveySensum which breaks the conventional market research turnaround time. 

SurveySensum is becoming a great tool to not only capture the feedbacks but also to extract some useful insights with the quick workflow setups and dashboards. We have more than 7 channels through which we can collect the feedbacks. This makes us challenge the conventional software development design principles. The team likes to grind and helps each other to lift in tough situations. 

Day to day responsibilities include:

1. Work on the deployment of code via Bitbucket, AWS CodeDeploy and manual
2. Work on Linux/Unix OS and Multi tech application patching
3. Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, and hotfixes on servers.
4. Create and modify scripts or applications to perform tasks
5. Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment
6. Easing developers’ life so that they can focus on the business logic rather than deploying and maintaining it. 
7. Managing release of the sprint. 
8. Educating team of the best practices.
9. Finding ways to avoid human error and save time by automating the processes using Terraform, CloudFormation, Bitbucket pipelines, CodeDeploy, scripting
10. Implementing cost effective measure on cloud and minimizing existing costs.
