Job Responsibilities

• Strong experience with Spring and Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security
• • Exposure working in microservices and containerization(Docker/Kubernetes)
• • Experience with Web Services (JSON, REST, JAX-RS, Spring based REST services)
• • Strong with Java and J2EE/Java EE (including servlets, JSP, JSF, JDBC)
• • Strong understanding of Java Multithreading
• • Experience working with DB like Mongo, Casandra etc.
• • Experience with at least one of the development tools like Git, Gradle, Maven, Sonar, Jenkins, Artifactory etc
• • Experience with web application servers like Tomcat, Jetty, JBoss etc
• • Experience with TDD, code testability standards, JUnit/Mockito
• • Experience with DevOps practices and CICD model of development
• • Good understanding of OOP, design patterns and industry best practices

Some of the tech problems you get to work on as a backend engineer would be to build the backend for a modern spreadsheet experience from scratch, work on infra as code, write robust code that is fault-tolerant, work on performant code that adheres to SLOs set by the organization.

Qualifications, Skills & Experiences 

• BE / B.Tech /M.Tech in Computer Science or a related field 
• Minimum 7+/5+ years of experience building large scalable systems 
• Minimum 2+ years of recent experience in building products on cloud is a plus 
• Knowledge of asynchronous programming and WebAPI development is required 
• Knowledge and awareness of cloud/ application security is must (OWASP at the minimum) 
• Strong knowledge in OOPS with C#, .Net(or Java) with SQL Server or any RDBMS 
• Strong experience in architecting and building multi-threaded, distributed systems. 
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and designing for performance. 
• Ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast paced environment. 
• Extensive experience of mentoring junior engineers to success. 
• Experience with Microservices Architecture is a plus 
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and AWS/Azure cloud services is plus 
• Hands on experience of building products for unix systems in addition to windows is a plus

The Software Engineer is responsible for performing the detailed design of application and technical architecture components and classes in accordance to the specification provided by the Solution Architect, for coding of SW components, and for the early testing phases (component testing), and system testing support
