Job Responsibilities

• Build microservices that provide REST APis to the web front end code
• Deploy microservices using a common deployment framework on AWS and GCP
• Implement reusable code libraries which can be utilized in various products
• Build exemplary code that meets the security standards of current web technologies for top US banks
• Routinely inspect server code for speed optimization
• Conceptualize and implement solutions for optimized data storage
• Participate in code reviews to ensure the code meets quality standards

Required Qualifications and Skills 

• 3+ years hands-on experience with J2EE, Spring Boot, Java, JavaScript and other programming languages
• Server-side experience with SASS and LESS
• Experience working with recent front-end frameworks (react.js, redux.js, node.js or similar technologies)
• Experience with JavaScript, Webpack, Mocha, Jest and other programming languages
• In-depth understanding of HTML5, CSS3 and Content Management Systems
• Ability to perform clean RESTful API design and understand the impact of the design on client side application code
• Familiarity with front side platforms such Javascript, HTML5 and CSS3

• Working knowledge of Databases, Cloud Platform and Cloud Security  

• Experience working using Agile and Scrum methodology.

• • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in .Net.
  • The candidate should be a system thinker.
  • Strong knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (e.g. C#, Visual Basic .NET) and HTML5/CSS3.
  • Enjoy Event-Driven Design Patterns and Event Sourcing.
  • Familiar with Document Store Databases (like Cosmos DB / Mongo DB).
  • Knowledge in Modular Architecture and Microservices.
  • Comfortable leading large technical projects.
  • Knowledge of any cloud services AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
  • Good understanding of ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC)).
  • Experience with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC).
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline).

• Participate in all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle
• Develop back-end components, services, and APIs. Support integration of user-facing elements, and collaborate closely with the design and front-end development team.
• Write elegant, effective, and scalable code while maintaining the highest level of coding standards.
• Take complete ownership of projects and ensure timely deliveries
• Ability to debug, refine, review, and deploy code
• Work closely with the QA team to test, and document project features.
• Ability to interact with all stakeholders. Understand business requirements, and effectively convert them into technical specifications
• Mentor junior developers and participate in peer Review

Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience as a Python Developer (3+ years)
• Strong knowledge of Python frameworks (Django Rest, Flask)

• Working knowledge of React
• Familiarity with Agile development methodology
• Good understanding of task breakup, milestone definition, and work delegation.
• Past experience of working in a fintech/financial services domain or a consumer internet startup will be preferable but not required
• Work experience in early-stage startups (0 ->1) is a big plus
• Bachelors or equivalent degree from premier institutes is a plus
