Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Data Engineer. The Data Engineer will be responsible for daily tasks such as data engineering, data modeling, extract transform load (ETL), data warehousing, and data analytics. Collaboration and communication with cross-functional teams will be required to ensure successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• SQL, Python/Scala, Spark, Hadoop, Hive, HDFS
• Data Engineering, Data Modeling, and Extract Transform Load (ETL) skills
• Data Warehousing and Data Analytics skills
• Experience in working with large datasets and data pipelines
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or SQL

Key Responsibilities:

• Design low level specification for the feature/module in consultation with product architect(s).

• Closely work with product managers/owners, architect(s) to understand the business requirements and code optimally.

• Propose and implement different algorithms in software code for high performing, high throughput, and low latency product features.

• Should be able build, make enhancements and maintain existing native web application user interface based on NodeJS, JavaScript or TypeScript, Angular, React, and Next/Vue.

• Develop and maintain generic solutions and utilities that can be integrated into any product.

• Integrate intelligent product performance indicators into the product to periodically monitor and take preemptive actions.

RF Engineer Job Responsibilities:

• Ensuring RF test equipment is calibrated to industry standards.
• Testing the performance of existing wireless products.
• Analysing RF broadcasting product and suggesting improvements.
• Troubleshooting RF tuning / antenna circuit issues.
• RF antenna design (PCB Antenna Design).
• Conducting laboratory tests on RF products.
• Ensuring regulatory standards are met.

RF Engineer Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics engineering or a similar field.
• At least 5 years of experience as an RF engineer in the RF industry.
• Advanced knowledge of LTE and RF (Bluetooth/Wireless) networks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of RF hardware systems and testing equipment.

• 2-4 years of work experience, preferably in a startup
• An engineering degree preferably, from a top-tier school (or equivalent experience)
• Hands-on experience in the JavaScript ecosystem, libraries, and tooling (ES6/7), React.js, and Redux
• Knowledge of React Hooks is an added advantage.
• Expert knowwledge of HTML/CSS, web standards, best practices
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• An experience of writing clean, well documented, semantic code with responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility in mind
• Ability to improvise, troubleshoot, and learn new skills on the job.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git/SVN
