PRINCIPAL ENGINEER – JOB DESCRIPTION

It is a YCombinator, Sequoia Capital and GFC funded start-up building digital solutions for women with chronic health conditions in India. We are the leading player in treating PCOS, a chronic condition that

What you’ll do:
As our Principal Engineer, you will drive 0-to-1 innovation at a fast-growing digital health start-up to transform the lives of hundreds of millions of women living with chronic conditions. In the future, this role will grow into a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) position as we expand further into the multi-billion-dollar undisrupted market that is women’s health. You will work with a world-class team (McKinsey, UnitedHealth, ex-IIT, Wharton) and pedigreed investors to directly shape our engineering culture from the ground up. You will drive innovation across our consumer and doctor-facing products (app + website + backend) while leading & building out a high-performing engineering team.

Qualifications:
• 2+ years of professional experience working with React Native.
• 2+ years of professional experience working with NodeJS.
• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience working with Typescript required.
• Experience working with Swift, Objective C, and Java a plus but not required.
• Ability to take extreme ownership over your work. Every day is a challenge to ensure you are performing to the expectations you and your team have agreed upon, both in regards to estimates and to the

• Ability to identify with the goals of Veera Health's customers and dedicate yourself to delivering on the commitments you and your team make to them.

Responsibilities:
• Work as part of a team to build React Native iOS / Android applications for Veera Health's customers.
• Demonstrated collaboration and interpersonal skills to work across multiple levels, ranging from being in the trenches with our care operations team to working with the Founders.
• Architect, build and maintain excellent React Native applications with clean code.
• Implement pixel perfect UI's that match designs.
• Implement clean, modern,smooth animations and transitionsthat provide an excellent user experience.
• Integrate third-party API's.
• Write unit and integration tests.
• Release applications to the Apple and Google Play stores.
• Work with native modules when required.
• Work with modern tools including Linear, Slack, GitHub, Notion, etc

SAP FICO Sr Consultant-

3 to 4 Years in SAP FICO with in depth functional knowledge for basic reporting. Experience in SAP BW / Native HANA with Functional experience in Finance or Controlling or Sales and distribution -good to have techno-functional.

Responsibilities:

Understanding the business requirement of the organization

Preparation of Blueprint for implementing the project.

Implementation of the project.

Validate the reports requirements

Validate any changes in customizing.

Provide training to end-user.

Sort out day-to-day queries of end users.

Enhancement of the SAP for the end user based on requirements.

Tools you’ll need to succeed this role are as follows:
● Good experience with Continuous integration and deployment tools like
Jenkins, Spinnaker, etc.
● Ability to understand problems and craft maintainable solutions.
● Working cross-functionally with a broad set of business partners to understand
and integrate their API or data flow systems with Xeno, so a minimal
understanding of data and API integration is a must.
● Experience with docker and microservice based architecture using
orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
● Understanding of Public Cloud, We use Azure and Google Cloud.
● Familiarity with web servers like Apache, nginx, etc.
● Possessing knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, New
Relic, etc.
● Scripting in languages like Python, Golang, etc is required.
● Some knowledge of database technologies like MYSQL and Postgres is
required.
● Understanding Linux, specifically Ubuntu.
● Bonus points for knowledge and best practices related to security.
● Knowledge of Java or NodeJS would be a significant advantage.


Initially, when you join some of the projects you’d get to own are:

Technology Skills (Good to Have):

As a Software Engineer you will:
●Work closely with Principal Engineers to design, implement and deploy applications that impact
Rupeek’s business with an emphasis on Mobile, Payments, Core Platform and Analytics.
●Drive the architecture and design of large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications, tools,
systems and services using object-oriented design, distributed programming, Java and C/C++.
●Gather business and functional requirements from external and/or internal customers and end-users,
and translate requirements into technical specifications to build robust, scalable, supportable solutions
that work well between a range of complex systems.
●Serve as technical lead throughout the full development lifecycle, end-to-end, from scoping, planning,
conception, design, implementation and testing, to documentation, delivery and maintenance.
●Provide design reviews for other engineers, including feedback on architecture and design issues, as
well as integration, performance and scalability.
●Manage engineers on multiple technical projects and ensure schedules, milestones, and priorities are
compatible with technology and business goals.

What will you do?

• You will be responsible for the design and development of large-scale, multi-tenant, distributed systems using scalable, fault-tolerant architecture with distributed queues (kafka), distributed caches (redis), high volume data stores (MongoDB, Cassandra, elasticsearch), container-centric deployments (kubernetes).
• Write Java codes using best practices with high quality standards.
• Participate in code reviews and deep dive into design discussions.

* Minimum 5 years experience in developing mobile applications. * Experience in working with iOS, Android web service applications * Experience in developing medium or large size applications especially e-commerce and audio/video streaming an advantage. * Experience in Mysql database design, Solr search an advantage * Experience in Google API, Facebook API and SMS API integration an advantage * Good design and development knowledge of RESTful web services in PHP with XML and JSON data formats. * Must have exposure knowledge in MVC framework and good experience in API implementation. * Must have experience with AWS products and solutions * Experience in building source code, troubleshooting issues, communicating and resolving related issues and ticket maintenance. * Ability to research and write project papers * Ability to implement test cases, automate scripts, evaluate, report, track, and verify bugs * Masters in CS or CA or equivalent * Must be a clear thinker with good written English, and communication skills, good research and organizational skills as well as the ability to pay attention to detail * Must be energetic, show initiative, be willing to learn, work hard and be passionate about work, be able to multitask and work under pressure and across time zones and multiple projects, work in teams, and have a positive attitude
