Position Responsibilities :
Deltek is seeking a passionate Quality Assurance Engineer dedicated to software quality. This role goes beyond traditional testing stereotypes, requiring the ability to identify defects across all application layers and envision comprehensive test case structures for product features and enhancements.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct manual testing for features and updates in web and mobile applications.
- Develop and execute test cases for moderate to complex features to enhance quality.
- Conduct defect analysis to identify root causes, trends, & patterns in software issues.
- Analyze fleet data to pinpoint future investment opportunities.
- Collaborate with testers, developers & others, to resolve product and technical issues.
- Oversee multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information technology, Engineering, or professional degree in accounting.
- Relevant certifications in software testing, such as ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) or CSTE (Certified Software Tester), are advantageous.
Experience:
- 4+ Years of experience in a manual testing role.
- Proven experience in ERP Systems (Project Accounting, Financial Accounting, Payroll, Inventory, Purchasing, or Time and Expense).
Technical Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with Agile software development practices.
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is advantageous.
- Experience testing web or mobile applications across various browsers, versions, and operating systems.
- Familiarity with automated tools such as Selenium, QTP or other automation tools.
- Basic understanding of SQL and ability to write queries for data validation.
- Familiarity with tools like Postman for API testing.
- Basic understanding of version control systems like Git.
- Proficiency in estimating, scheduling, and task distribution.
- Capable of using creative and analytical approaches, leveraging data-driven decision making to enhance the customer experience
