ROLE SUMMARY:

An experienced, hands-on engineering role owning the electrical and electronics hardware content of motor-drive and sensor systems. The Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineer is responsible for power distribution and motor-drive power-stage design, sensor interface boards, and taking boards through EMI/EMC compliance, with full ownership of schematic capture and layout from concept to fab-ready.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design power distribution and the motor-drive power stage (gate drives, current sense, H-bridge/inverter stages)
• Implement supervised discrete-line circuitry per IF-08 ICD requirements
• Design sensor interface boards (resolver, encoder, analog/digital signal conditioning)
• Take boards through EMI/EMC compliance for MIL-STD-461
• Own schematic capture and layout in Altium or KiCad end-to-end, from concept to fab ready.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech. in Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Instrumentation, or any other relevant field.
• 4-8 years of relevant experience.

KEY COMPETENCIES

• Hands-on power electronics: gate driver design, current sensing, protection circuitry
• Analog signal conditioning for sensor front-ends (resolver, encoder, LVDT-class signals)
• Practical EMI/EMC design experience, ideally against MIL-STD-461 or equivalent (automotive/industrial EMC also considered)
• Strong Altium or KiCad skills — layout discipline for power + mixed-signal boards.
• Prior work on ICD-driven or interface-controlled discrete I/O circuitry
• Defence, aerospace, or automotive electronics background

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and hands-on Project Manager — Execution with 2—3 years of æxperience in PEB (pre-Engineered Buildings), Civil Construction, or MEP projects.

The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely completion, quality standards, safety, and client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate should have experience in residential or commercial projects, strong team- management skills, and the ability to independently handle and coordinate up to 3 projects simultaneously.

We are looking for a hands-on Technical Lead Engineer to lead the design, development, and delivery of our Head-End System (HES), Meter Data Management (MDM), and Smart Metering platform. The role requires strong backend engineering expertise, deep understanding of smart metering and utility systems, and the ability to guide a development team through architecture, implementation, integration, testing, deployment, and production support.

The ideal candidate will have practical experience building scalable IoT or utility platforms involving smart meter communication, DLMS/COSEM protocols, real-time data acquisition, validation, event processing, command execution, and integration with enterprise systems such as billing, NMS, OMS, and analytics platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technical development of HES, MDM, AMI/AMR, and smart metering modules.
• Design scalable backend architecture for meter communication, data ingestion, validation, processing, storage, and reporting.
• Implement and guide development of DLMS/COSEM IEC 62056 based meter communication.
• Integrate with smart meters, DCUs/gateways, billing systems, NMS, OMS, analytics systems, and third-party utility platforms.
• Lead Java/Spring Boot backend development using REST APIs, messaging queues, socket programming, and distributed system patterns.

• Practical experience with DLMS/COSEM, IEC 62056, Gurux or similar frameworks, smart meter communication, meter reads, events, commands, and remote operations.
• Strong understanding of communication protocols such as TCP/IP, socket programming, FTP/SFTP, MQTT/HTTP, and related integration patterns.
• Experience with Kafka/RabbitMQ, MySQL/MariaDB, MongoDB, Redis, ClickHouse, Apache Solr, or similar messaging and data platforms.
• Knowledge of scalable architecture, including clustering, replication, load balancing, caching, retries, failover, monitoring, and large-scale time-series data handling.
• Experience leading backend engineering teams, owning technical delivery, reviewing code, and mentoring developers.
• Preferred: experience with utility/DISCOM projects, AMISP programs, billing engines, prepaid metering, NMS/OMS, energy accounting, cloud services, CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, observability, and cybersecurity for smart metering systems.

Education Requirement

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline is preferred. Candidates with strong hands-on HES/MDM, AMI, DLMS/COSEM, IoT, or utility software experience may be considered even with a different academic background.

·     Minimum 18 years of overall experience in infrastructure/water supply project execution.

·     Candidate must have independently handled and successfully completed at least 2–3 Water Supply Scheme Projects as Project Manager.

·     Candidates having experience in Jharkhand Urban Water Supply / Urban Infrastructure Projects will be given priority.

·     Experience in JJM / Rural Water Supply / Urban Water Supply Schemes will be highly preferred.

·     Strong experience in managing end-to-end project execution, from planning to commissioning and handover.

·     Experience in handling large-scale pipeline networks, WTP, Intake Well, ESR/OHSR, CWR, pumping stations, distribution networks and allied water supply infrastructure.

·     Should have sound knowledge of BOQ, drawings, specifications, work planning, resource planning and project scheduling.

·     Experience in coordinating with Jal Jeevan Mission, PHED, JUIDCO, State Government departments, consultants and other statutory authorities.

·     Strong understanding of contract management, billing, variations, claims, EOT, DPR/BOQ and client requirements.

·     Should be capable of managing multiple project teams, contractors, subcontractors, engineers and site personnel.
