Job Overview

KGiSL MicroCollege is seeking a skilled and dynamic Communication Trainer to deliver offline training sessions at KGiSL Coimbatore. The trainer will be responsible for enhancing students’ verbal, non-verbal, and professional communication skills, preparing them for academic and corporate environments.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging sessions on spoken English, interpersonal communication, and professional etiquette

Improve students’ listening, speaking, presentation, and confidence-building skills

Conduct interactive activities such as role plays, group discussions, debates, and mock interviews

Customise training content based on student skill levels

Track student progress and provide constructive feedback

Maintain attendance and basic session reports

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience as a Communication / Soft Skills / English Trainer

Strong command of English with excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to engage and motivate college-level students

Experience in offline classroom training preferred

Certification in communication, English, or soft skills training is an added advantage

Strong Technical Support Leader profile

Mandatory (Company) – Must come from SaaS / Enterprise Product companies (preferably high-scale transactional platforms)

Mandatory (Experience 1) – 12+ years of experience in Technical Support / Application Support, with minimum 6–7 years leading L3 or escalations teams

Mandatory (Experience 2) – Proven experience handling customer escalations, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), incident ownership, and cross-functional resolution with Product & Engineering teams

Mandatory (Team Leadership) – Experience managing L3 Support teams of ~20+ members, including mentoring, workload planning, shift governance, and performance management

Mandatory (Technical Depth) – Hands-on understanding of: Databases ( PostgreSQL / SQL), Middleware / Servers (JBoss, Tomcat, IIS, Nginx, Apache) and Operating Systems like Linux, Unix, Windows

(to effectively coordinate with architects and engineering heads)

Mandatory (Process & Metrics) – Strong capability in SLA management, ticket lifecycle governance, escalations process setup, and support dashboards/reporting

Mandatory (Ticketing Tools) – Working knowledge of Freshdesk / Jira / ServiceNow or equivalent enterprise ticketing platforms

Mandatory (Core Skills) – Excellent communication, customer handling, crisis de-escalation, and ability to simplify technical details for leadership

About the Role

We are undertaking a platform migration from our existing WordPress site to a modern React frontend. We are seeking a highly capable Backend Engineer on a 1-month contract to lead the backend aspects of this transition. The ideal candidate has strong experience with serverless backends and API-first architectures, particularly using Cloudflare Workers and the Cloudflare ecosystem. You will collaborate closely with our in-house Frontend Engineer (specialized in React) to deliver a seamless, performant, and secure end product.  

Key Responsibilities

Audit current WordPress backend (data structures, plugins, custom code). Design and implement a backend solution leveraging Cloudflare Workers, Cloudflare KV / Durable Objects, and related services (or propose suitable alternatives such as Node.js/Express or headless CMS if appropriate). Develop secure APIs for authentication, content, and form handling. Migrate existing WordPress data (pages, posts, forms, and media) into the new system. Integrate with our CRM (_Zoho_) and other existing systems. Ensure compliance with NZ data protection standards. Deploy backend on Cloudflare (and/or coordinate with existing hosting infrastructure as needed). Provide documentation and handover to the internal team.

Qualifications & Skills

Proven experience in backend engineering with serverless platforms (Cloudflare Workers, AWS Lambda, or similar). Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, authentication, and security best practices. Familiarity with Cloudflare KV, Durable Objects, R2, or equivalent distributed data solutions. Experience with WordPress architecture and React-based frontend integration. Experience in migration projects (legacy CMS → modern stack) highly valued. Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively alongside frontend specialists.

Deliverables

Backend environment and Cloudflare Worker (or alternative) architecture established. Secure APIs deployed and tested with React frontend. Migration of content/data from WordPress. Integration with Zoho CRM and forms. Production deployment. Documentation + handover.

Duration: 1 month.

Engagement: Remote, with short daily and hourly weekly check-ins.

Compensation: 75,000 INR

Experience with Cloudflare Workers, the Cloudflare CDN, prior Wordpress migration experience, and any experience of working alongside frontend engineers prioritized. A huge bonus would be experience with Zoho CRM/Zoho Forms.

Content Operations Specialist

As a Content Operations Specialist at Pratilipi Marathi, you will closely work with our Content Operations lead and other language owners to ensure delighting millions of readers via content curation. You will be the one who gets to decide which content list goes on our App and Website homepage. You will run writing competitions for thousands of authors. You will focus on the health and hygiene of your language by filtering content from the backend. You will get to decide which content goes into our social media. 

In short - you will own a content funnel in Pratilipi Marathi. We are looking for extraordinarily creative and logical personalities to create great experiences for our authors and build great reading experiences for our readers. 

What we are looking for in a person:

You must be passionate about stories and literature. Strong and commendable verbal and written communication skills in both Marathi and English are a MUST. You are hungry for growth and learning. You should be super organized, take ownership of each initiative, and have a curious mindset to learn new tools and techniques. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and G Suite is required, as is the ability to prioritize tasks and frequently multitask. You must have a deep love for Pratilipi, aspire to work with authors and make a positive impact in the language literature world.

• You will be closely working with our Content Operations team and take end-to-end ownership of Writing competitions in your language. You will work on ideas around writing competitions, You will create and translate drafts, rules, and value systems around competitions. You will be in charge of competition results and rewards mechanisms. 
• You will understand user funnels and take up focused initiatives to scale event participation and published content numbers. 
• You will do regular content sanity checks based on necessary metrics and choose the best content for the Pratilipi Premium section.
• You will do awesome vibrant translations of articles whenever required, by fully understanding the content needs.
• You will choose which story goes in front of readers on our Facebook channel. You will select creatives to engage readers in each story. 
• You will be an admin of our large social media page and group, where you will approve daily published content and establish communication and customer success. 
• You will be working on the health and hygiene of the platform by removing pirated content, hate speech, and explicit content. 
• You will read all event content and curate the highest quality event results based on necessary metrics and what is best suited for the Pratilipi community.
• You will reply to user queries over email and help them with any kind of issues related to Pratilipi events. 
• You will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day content needs of our product managers in order to run different experiments. Your content would go to millions of readers each day.
