Job Description:

We are seeking a Full-Stack WordPress Developer with a strong background in both front-end and back-end development, and solid experience managing high-traffic websites. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with Nginx, load balancers, Linux servers, and will have a keen eye for SEO best practices and performance optimization using tools like PageSpeed Insights.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins.
2. Optimize websites for speed, performance, and scalability.
3. Ensure websites follow SEO best practices (technical and on-page).
4. Monitor and improve PageSpeed Insights scores across desktop and mobile.
5. Set up and manage Nginx web servers, load balancers, and related configurations.
6. Handle MySQL/MariaDB database tuning and optimization.
7. Work with Linux-based environments (Ubuntu) for server maintenance, deployments, and troubleshooting.
8. Build and maintain websites capable of handling high traffic volumes without performance degradation.
9. Implement caching strategies (object/page/server-side), CDNs, and other performance tools.
10. Collaborate with designers, content teams, and stakeholders to deliver robust, SEO-friendly digital experiences.

Required Skills:

1. Expert-level experience with WordPress development (themes, plugins, hooks, custom post types).
2. Proficient in PHP, JavaScript (Vanilla & jQuery), HTML5, CSS3, and REST APIs.
3. Strong understanding of technical SEO and Core Web Vitals.
4. Familiarity with Google PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse, and GTmetrix.
5. Hands-on experience with Nginx, load balancers, and server configuration.
6. Deep knowledge of MySQL database optimization and query performance.
7. Proficient in managing Linux servers, Cloudflare configuration, SSH, CLI-based tools, cron jobs, etc.
8. Experience with cloud hosting platforms such as DigitalOcean and AWS.
9. Experience handling high-traffic websites with performance and uptime in mind.
10. Familiar with version control systems like Git.

Nice to Have:

1. Experience with WooCommerce.
2. CI/CD pipeline knowledge (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
3. Familiarity with Docker or other container tools.
4. Monitoring and alerting tools like New Relic, Datadog, or Netdata.

Detailed Responsibilities

• Participate in Application Development, focusing on frontend (React), to deliver high-quality web applications with exceptional User Experience. This includes creating admin tools and dashboards for seamless internal management.
• Collaborate in our Kanban-based development process to develop new components and user interaction workflows for our flagship application.

Candidate Requirements:
