Job Description :

We are urgently seeking a Senior SAP PPDS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling) Consultant with strong implementation experience.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting end-to-end project delivery for SAP PPDS, contributing to solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment in both Greenfield and Brownfield environments.

Mandatory Skills : SAP PPDS, CIF Integration, Heuristics, Pegging Strategies, Production Scheduling, S/4 HANA or ECC, Greenfield/Brownfield Implementation.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the implementation of SAP PPDS modules including system configuration and integration with SAP ECC/S4 HANA.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define functional specifications.
• Design, configure, and test SAP PPDS solutions to meet business needs.
• Provide support for system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
• Participate in workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during implementation and post-go-live.
• Ensure documentation of functional specifications, configuration, and user manuals.

Required Skills :

• Minimum 6+ Years of SAP PPDS experience.
• At least 1-2 Greenfield or Brownfield implementation projects.
• Strong understanding of supply chain planning and production scheduling.
• Hands-on experience in CIF integration, heuristics, optimization, and pegging strategies.
• Excellent communication and client interaction skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience in S/4 HANA environment.
• SAP PPDS Certification is a plus.
• Experience working in large-scale global projects.

Key Responsibilities

🖥️ Frontend (Angular)

• Develop responsive, accessible web UI for assessment tools, educator dashboards, and parent reports.
• Implement dynamic form builders and scoring interfaces for multiple domains (reading, writing, math).
• Build PDF report previews, filtering tools, and real-time updates.

🔙 Backend (Python/FastAPI)

• Design and implement APIs for user management, assessments, intervention logs, and reports.
• Integrate scoring logic and data aggregation for AI insights.
• Implement secure role-based access (admin, educator, parent).

🛠️ DevOps / Systems

• Maintain scalable architecture with PostgreSQL / MongoDB, Docker, and deployment pipelines.
• Work with AI engineer to connect ML models to backend for prediction and recommendation layers.
• Optimize performance and ensure data security (GDPR-aligned).

Experience:

The candidate should have about 2+ years of experience with design and development in Java/Scala. Experience in algorithm, data-structure, database and distributed System is mandatory.

Required Skills:

Mandatory: -

1. Core Java or Scala
2. Experience in Big Data, Spark
3. Extensive experience in developing spark job. Should possess good Oops knowledge and be aware of enterprise application design patterns.
4. Should have the ability to analyze, design, develop and test complexity of spark job.
5. Working knowledge of Unix/Linux.
6. Hands on experience in Spark, creating RDD, applying operation - transformation-action

Must have:

• Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React, and Amber.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, object model, DOM manipulation and event handlers, data structures, algorithms, JSX, and Babel 
• Complete understanding of ReactJS and its main fundamentals like JSX, Virtual DOM, component lifecycle, etc. 
• Preceding experience with ReactJS workflows like Redux, Create React App, data structure libraries

• Strong understanding of Javascript, ReactJS, HTML, CSS, Ruby and Ruby on Rails 
• Strong understanding of scalable, modular, open and robust application / database architecture. 
• Strong analytical, problem solving skills for ambiguous high level business / technical issues
• Familiarity with concepts of MVC, ORM, and RESTful
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application 
• Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes
• Hands on Experience with relational databases Postgresql and MySQL
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming 
• Proficient in writing unit and functional tests with RSpec, Capybara
• Familiarity with Couchbase and ElasticSearch (NoSQL DB)
• Able to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests with RSpec
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (e.g. Git)
• Familiarity with development aiding tools (such as Bower, Bundler, Rake, etc)
• Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous development (CI/CD) tools and methodologies
• Proficient in verbal and written communication.
• Experience in debugging system performance issues and creating long term solutions for the same would be an added benefit.
