Job Summary:

A Desktop Support Engineer is responsible for providing IT support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of desktop and laptop systems in an organization.

Key Responsibilities:

* Install, configure, and maintain Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.

* Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and peripherals.

* Provide technical support for printers, scanners, and other office equipment.

* Assist users with network connectivity issues (Wi-Fi, LAN, VPN).

* Manage user accounts, passwords, and security settings in Active Directory.

* Respond to and resolve IT support tickets efficiently.

* Perform system updates, patches, and security checks.

Skills & Qualifications:

Roles and Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, testing and deployment of the virtual desktop infrastructure
• Facilitating the transition of the VDI solution to Operations, providing operational and end user support when required.
• Acting as the single point of contact for all technical engagements on the VDI infrastructure.
• Creation of documented standard processes and procedures for all aspects of VDI infrastructure, administration and management.
• Working with the vendor in assessing the VDI infrastructure architecture from a deployment, performance, security and compliance perspective.

What we are looking for:

A Network Security engineer with a solid comprehensive background in:

• Ability to manage, supervise and delegate multiple tasks
• Strong experience with SIEM and log management
• EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response - especially in Microsoft ATP, Defender or SentinelOne) configuration and management.
• Vendor management; including SOC (Security Operations Centre) providers
• Global Security Incident management support
• Experience in SD-WAN (Meraki) management and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of network security, hardening network equipment, and vulnerability scans
• Experience in Microsoft security and endpoint management tooling such as MCAS and MEM
• Excellent troubleshooting skills. Ability to rapidly identify respond to and resolve issues
• Proven experience in remote access technologies (ZScaler an advantage)
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• An ability to work under pressure and take ownership of tasks and customer issues.
• Ability to work individually and as part of a global Infrastructure Technology team with regional teams in India, UK and North America.

We work in a project based environment, so each project (research assignment) would not last for more than 3-4 weeks. Research assignments would primarily focus on B2B respondents/ prospects and the candidate will be required to call-up these respondents/prospects and convince them to participate in our research surveys further take them through the questionnaire and capture responses over the phone.

- Primarily will be involved in generating Leads over the phone with national and international respondents.

- Perform secondary research, and generate leads using various tools, directories and websites.
