Job Overview:

We're looking for a Animator who is good at creating great user interfaces to join our friendly team in Chennai. If you have more than a year of experience and are good at talking with people and taking the lead, we'd like to talk to you. As an animator's job involves using artistic and technical skills to create moving images that tell stories, convey emotions, or communicate ideas. Whether working in film, television, video games, advertising, or other industries, animators bring characters, environments, and objects to life through various animation techniques.

*Requirements* :

As an Academic Counselor, you will provide essential academic counseling and career guidance to

prospective students, helping them navigate course offerings, admissions requirements, and career

opportunities in the analytics industry. You will be a key part of our admissions team, working closely

with students and their families to drive student enrollments and support student retention.

Key Responsibilities:

 Student Counseling: Provide personalized guidance to prospective students on

BIA’s academic programs, course offerings, fees, curriculum, and prerequisites.

 Admissions Assistance: Guide students through the admission process, including application

submissions, interviews, and document verification to ensure a seamless experience.

 Lead Follow-Up and Conversion: Follow up with potential leads and inquiries, using lead

conversion techniques to drive student enrollments.

 Presentations & Online Counseling: Conduct engaging presentations, online counseling, and

face-to-face meetings to explain the features, benefits, and career opportunities associated

with BIA’s courses.

 Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate records ofstudent counseling sessions,follow-up

actions, and feedback in alignment with data management best practices.

 Career Counseling: Provide career advice on job opportunities, certifications,

and upskilling relevant to the analyticsindustry to help students achieve their professional

goals.

 Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and admissionsteams to drive enrollments,

meet student intake targets, and achieve organizational goals.

 Industry Awareness: Stay updated on the latest trends in education and analyticsto provide

informed, insightful guidance.

 Relationship Building: Build positive relationships with students, parents, and educational

Requirements

Salary up to 60 LPA (depending upon your experience)

5+ years of solid experience with a wide range of web, backend, or mobile technologies.
● Mastery of Ruby on Rails in a cloud-based ecosystem
● Experience presenting technical solutions to peers and managers.
● A proven track record of designing scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
• Experience coordinating development efforts across multiple managing projects in
parallel.
● Experience working with off-shore/outsourced developers across different time zones.
● Experience with code review tools and practices to ensure best practices are followed
and code quality gates are achieved.
● Experience with creating documentation, unit tests, integration tests, security, and load
tests.
● Solid Understanding of GitOps principles.
Nice to have:
● Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and GitLab CI/CD pipelines
● Comfortable with open source monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Loki
● Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, and Digital Ocean

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. The Head of Technology at Grab will work closely with the Founding team and lead a team of 30 people comprising backend, frontend developers testers.
2. Grab ’s current technology stack is LAMP and it houses Android applications along with backend modules. The candidate’s role will be to revisit the architecture and aim   the team towards it.  
3. Grab shall be diversifying into various new processes that will create opportunities to create new products which the Candidate shall take ownership of.
4. The Candidate's role apart from owning existing product lines will also be to create enterprise versions of Grab’s stack.
5. Candidates will obtain a deep understanding of the business side and accurate processes and systems around it. He/She will gather feedback from various stakeholders   and continuously refine tech offerings.

 Skills & Qualification:

1. Proven experience of absorbing business knowledge into building innovations around technologies is the key. We expect the technology headto bear the attitude of an entrepreneur to command the future of the firm’s technology to first in industry status.
2. Engineering Degree. One from a premier institute, preferred.
3. Minimum 10 years of experience. Off which 3 years, at a leadership role.
4. Prior development experience, preferred.

Able to understand SDLC process, Extensive experience designing and, developing RESTful APIs, Extensive coding experience with either Java/J2EE/Spring
