Job Description :

We are looking for a skilled GxP Manual Functional Tester with strong experience in manual testing within GxP-compliant environments.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the software testing lifecycle and hands-on experience in Functional, FIT, and UAT testing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business, development, and regulatory stakeholders, in an Agile setup.

Mandatory Skills : Manual Testing, GxP Compliance, STLC, FIT & UAT Test Design, Agile Testing, Jira, Defect Management, and Test Documentation.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform manual testing in GxP-regulated environments ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Design and execute Functional Integration Testing (FIT) test cases.
• Prepare and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test scenarios.
• Participate in Agile incremental testing cycles.
• Track, report, and manage defects using Jira or similar test management tools.
• Collaborate with development, QA, regulatory, and business teams to ensure effective communication and accurate documentation.
• Maintain detailed testing documentation and contribute to continuous test process improvements.

Required Skills :

• Minimum 4+ Years of experience in manual testing in GxP-compliant environments.
• Strong knowledge of STLC, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Hands-on experience in FIT test case design and execution.
• Expertise in UAT test design and coordination.
• Experience with test management tools such as Jira.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Strong defect management capabilities.

• This is a hybrid role; candidates must be willing to work from a Capgemini office as required.

Job Description

 Interact with Project management and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives.

 Analyze requirements for validity. Design and prepare test plan/cases for mobile and web applications based on requirements

 Experience in handling a complete project from a QA engineer perspective.

 Create relevant tasks for Engineers in JIRA, track and ensure closure  Reproduce issues reported by the customers and document the steps clearly so developers can fix them

Requirements & Desirable skill sets

 Hand-on experience in Excel

 Basic knowledge of mobile applications

 Hands-on experience in Defect management tools like JIRA or similar tools

 Intermediate written/verbal communication

 Comfortable to work with large volumes of data and Attention to detail  Knowledge in testing iOS or Android native

 Knowledge in testing web applications

 Ownership of assigned tasks and escalate whenever required

Strong UAT / Functional Test Lead Profiles

Mandatory (Experience 1): Must have minimum 7 years of overall testing experience, with at least 3 years of recent UAT experience, primarily in manual testing for large enterprise or government project

Mandatory (Experience 2): Must have worked on minimum 2 national-level e-Governance, public sector, enterprise, or marketplace projects in a UAT lead or ownership role

Mandatory (Experience 3): Must have 3+ years of team handling experience, leading 7–8 QA/UAT members, including task assignment, review, mentoring, and delivery ownership

Mandatory (Experience 4): Must have complete ownership of UAT activities, including UAT planning, execution, acceptance sign-off, defect management, retesting, and regression cycles.

Mandatory (Skills 1): Must have strong hands-on manual testing experience, with the ability to create test scenarios and test cases from BRDs, user stories, functional documents, and Figma/UI screens.

Mandatory (Skills 2): Must be able to understand HLD/LLD documents and API specifications and perform manual API testing based on business logic.

Mandatory (Education): Must have BE/BTech/MTech/MBA (BSc/BCA alone is not acceptable; with Bsc/BCA candidates must have a relevant postgraduate degree MCA/MTech)

As a software tester, you'll be involved in the quality assurance stage of software development and deployment. You'll conduct automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by developers is fit for purpose and any bugs or issues are removed within a product before it gets deployed to everyday users. Your role is integral to the creation of software systems and technical products. You'll need to be familiar, or become familiar with, programming and using coding languages.

• Extensively working on Manual Testing/API Testing/Functional or UI Testing.
• Develop test strategies and test plans for projects.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years-10 years of related work experience in API and Functionality testing preferably in the Payments domain.

• Must be a Graduate in B. E/BSC. IT/BCA or Equivalent.

• As a Senior Software Test Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to test/qualify new products and enhancements to existing products as part of a cross functional team. You are required to verify and validate software changes for new products, enhancements and defects.
• Responsible for verifying that the software complies with the requirements and that the various customer use-cases can be satisfactorily met by the software.
• Work very closely with the project/baseline manager and development team to understand the architecture and design of the system and the interaction between various software sub-systems and components.
• Prepare and execute test plans for software releases, document and automate test cases to exercise the various features and capabilities of the software, identify and capture bugs and related information in the bug tracking database.
• Develop higher complexity test cases, test suite selection and execute all necessary testing activity required for a customer software release (negative and backward compatibility scenarios) per assignment, group objectives and product requirements.
• Document, enhance and maintain regression test procedures over the lifecycle of the software.
• Execute the software release test plans and certify that a software release has met the quality criterion(s) for various phase exits (pre-alpha, alpha, beta).
• Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution
• Independently manage schedule for his/her projects and deliverables, seamlessly works with all key stakeholders to ensure delivery is never on the critical path
• Consistently look out for areas of improvement in all areas of software product development and processes, champions implementation of identified best practices

• Strong understanding of SDLC processes and the QA lifecycle and methodology
• Prior experience in supervisory control systems software would be a plus (but not mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of software test methodologies, tools, standards and processes.
• Good hands on programing experience in any of the scripting/programming languages (C++, C#, Java Script)
• Strong interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
