About the Role:
We are looking for a QA Engineer with 3-6 years of experience to ensure the highest quality standards for our LegalTech web applications. This role focuses on SEO best practices, accessibility (WCAG), compatibility testing, and web performance optimization. You will be responsible for both manual and automated testing, ensuring compliance with Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse performance benchmarks, and search engine guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct SEO testing, including structured data validation, meta tags, canonical tags, robots.txt, sitemaps, and indexing issues.
- Perform Lighthouse audits to evaluate Core Web Vitals, performance, accessibility, and best practices.
- Validate Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) compliance and ensure ADA & Section 508 standards.
- Execute browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness testing across multiple devices and screen sizes.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for regression and performance testing using Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure SEO-friendly UI/UX design and site speed optimizations.
- Identify and document bugs, UI inconsistencies, and accessibility issues, working with frontend and backend teams for resolutions.
- Test structured data (Schema.org), hreflang implementation, and server-side rendering (SSR) behaviors.
- Implement API testing for SEO-related integrations (e.g., Google Search Console, GA4, sitemap validation).
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, ensuring automated tests run smoothly before deployments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3-6 years of experience in QA testing for web applications.
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices and Google ranking factors.
- Hands-on experience with Lighthouse, Core Web Vitals, and page speed testing tools.
- Expertise in manual and automation testing using Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Familiarity with WCAG standards and accessibility testing tools (e.g., Axe, Wave, Lighthouse).
- Experience with cross-browser and mobile compatibility testing.
- Knowledge of structured data validation (Schema.org, JSON-LD testing tools).
- Ability to analyze GA4 and Google Search Console reports for QA insights.
- Experience with REST API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger).
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and reporting skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with SonarQube for code quality analysis.
- Knowledge of Next.js, Lit.js, or modern frontend frameworks.
- Understanding of server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) testing.
