QA Engineer

Job Description:

Interviews will be scheduled in two days. 

We are seeking a highly skilled Scala Developer to join our team on an immediate basis. The ideal candidate will work remotely and collaborate with a US-based client, so excellent communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop scalable and high-performance applications using Scala.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver quality solutions.

Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.

Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues.

Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.

Required Skills:

Strong experience in Scala development.

Solid understanding of functional programming principles.

Experience with frameworks like Akka, Play, or Spark is a plus.

Good knowledge of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and concurrency.

Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, and Agile methodologies.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Scala.
• Design and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality.
• Troubleshoot issues and optimize performance.
• Stay updated on Scala and backend development best practices.

What do we expect from you? 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.  
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience.  
• Solid understanding of Quality Assurance methods and practices.  

• Deep understanding of manual and automated testing concepts.  
• Proficiency in any open-source Automation Framework 
• Experience in testing mobile applications 
• Demonstrated experience in test framework design and development.  
• Strong Software development fundamentals including OOPs, general Algorithms, etc.  

• Computer fundamentals, analytical and problem-solving skills.  
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, dynamic work environment  
• Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in Shell scripting or familiarity with CLI is a plus

Prefer Immediate Joiners with Node experience only
Minimum 2 Years of experience in NodeJS. Minimum 1 Year experience in MongoDB Minimum 1 Year of experience in ElasticSearch.

Skills/Experience

Experience with complete flows involving timing closure of high speed digital design using scripting languages and design automation.

Has deep knowledge of Xilinx FPGA implementation and tools.

Experience in state of the art tools and flows.

Working knowledge in Verilog and System Verilog.

 Job Requirements

Bachelors in Electronics Engineering.

Strong knowledge of ASIC and/or FPGA design methodology and should be well versed in front-end design, simulation, and verification CAD tools.

Relevant FPGA/ASIC engineering design and verification experience is entertained.

Excellent verbal, written and communication skills are required.

Excellent follow-through, motivation, and persistence

Strong technical judgment and decision making abilities.

Knowledge of digital board design and signal integrity principles is a plus.

About the Role:

• Your goal is to drive revenue & profitability via organic search with defined growth targets via up-levelling the content, SEO structure & tech.
• Directly manage SEO Team & deal with tech leads to hit monthly, quarterly, and annual traffic & revenue goals.
• You must have an excellent understanding of search engines, crawler behaviour.
• You must understand the technicality of using web crawlers, log analyzers, and set tools. • Understanding of code at least read/understand HTML.
• Your analytical and statistical skills should be strong — excellent level of expertise of Google Analytics, webmaster tools, etc.

• Manage and measure performance across keyword targets, but execute ad hoc strategic initiatives
• Establish the innovation mindset and always-on experimentation, including new page development, a/b test on-page optimization, schemas, etc.
• Highlight technical pitfalls and become the driving force behind building a reliable foundation of SEO tech (e.g., structured data, schema markup) and process that will scale in India & Overseas.
• Set clear KPIs and drive a team culture of accountability and rigor towards business impact.
• Be a domain expert on the educational industry.
