Some of the tech problems you get to work on as a backend engineer would be to build the backend for a modern spreadsheet experience from scratch, work on infra as code, write robust code that is fault-tolerant, work on performant code that adheres to SLOs set by the organization.

About you:

● 3- 5 years of experience

● Expertise in the following areas ○ Java ○ HTTP Protocol

● You’ve heard of or worked with some of the following tech stacks/products ○ Spring ○ PostgreSQL ○ Redis ○ Docker ○ Message brokers ○ GitHub

● These non-functional areas are familiar to you ○ Performance ○ Debugging ○ Log management

In this role, you'll:

• Manage our SaaS web app, ensuring its roadmap, quality of performance, reliability, and security 💻
• Engage directly with customers to understand their needs and translate feedback into actionable engineering tasks 🗣️📝
• Collaborate with our sales and marketing teams, providing engineering updates and insights to support their efforts 🤝📈
• Oversee technical documentation to enhance visibility and communication within the organization 📚👀

We're seeking a tech-savvy leader with a strong software engineering background and experience managing agile teams. You'll drive our technical strategy, ensure our product roadmap stays on track, and foster a culture of continuous innovation. 🚀

● Work in a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Module providing marketing solutions to different local and international clients and Business Development Units in the online casino industry.

● Photography Mastery: Capture and edit exceptional photos for marketing campaigns, online casino game showcases, and social media.

● Videography Brilliance: Create compelling video content that engages and informs our players, from short social snippets to detailed product explainers.

● Marketing and Promotions: Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional campaigns to attract and retain players.

The specific responsibilities and requirements for a Sr. Multimedia Designer in an online casino may vary depending on the size and nature of the casino, as well as local regulations and industry standards.

Work Experience Requirements

● 5+ Years in Multimedia Design: Your portfolio should include at least five years in a multimedia role, focusing on photography, videography, and audio design.

● Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effect, and Audition.

● Portfolio Excellence: A portfolio showcasing multimedia projects, especially in photography and videography.

● Marketing Flair: Previous experience in creating marketing-specific content is a must.

● Outstanding Communication: Impeccable oral and written skills are essential for team collaboration and stakeholder management.

● SEO & SEM Experience: Understanding search engine optimisation and search engine marketing will be beneficial.

● Data-Driven Approach: Familiarity with Google Analytics to gauge the success of your projects is a plus.

● Team Leadership: Experience leading or mentoring a creative team will give you an edge.

● Project Management Skills: Ability to oversee multiple projects from inception to completion within a fast-paced environment.

● Must be willing to report onsite in Cambodia

Job description

ORMAE is looking for a UI Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application.

You will work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works. 

Responsibilities

• Develop new user-facing features
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to the back end.
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
• Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
• Rock-solid understanding of JavaScript as we don't stick to any framework as such. Should be able to juggle between Angular, React, Electron, Flutter as in when needed.
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
• Hands-on experience in optimizing the UI of an application.
• Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus.
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Knowledge about Docker and Nginx are nice to have and adds as a bonus point.
