Job Overview

Ikwat is an AI-powered event creation and ticketing platform designed for India's micro-event hosts—yoga instructors, supper club chefs, workshop facilitators, and community organizers. We're pre-seed stage, currently raising and looking for a driven sales person to help onboard our first host partnerships.

You'll be the first person on the sales team, building direct relationships with potential hosts, understanding their pain points, and demonstrating how Ikwat saves them time and increases revenue. This is a hands-on role reporting directly to the founder.

What You'll Do

•      Identify and outreach to potential hosts across yoga, wellness, food, workshops, and community event spaces (LinkedIn, direct email, Instagram and referral networks).

•      Conduct product demos and discovery calls to understand host requirements and pain points.

•      Close partnerships: Onboard hosts onto the platform, and support early activation.

•      Track pipeline, forecast, and report weekly progress to founder (Google Sheets, basic CRM).

•      Provide feedback on product gaps and user feedback from real hosts to inform roadmap.

Who You Are

•      0–5 years of B2B sales or business development experience (SaaS, SMB products, or marketplaces preferred, but not required if you have sales hunger).

•      Comfortable with cold outreach—LinkedIn, email, Instagram and phone calls—and converting interest into meetings.

•      Direct, honest communication; pushback on ideas is expected and valued. Comfortable in ambiguity and wearing multiple hats in an early-stage start-up.

Job Description: 

Exp Range - [6y to 10y]

Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Computer Applications or AI/Data science
• Experience working in product companies/Startups for developing, validating, productionizing AI model in the recent projects in last 3 years.
• Prior experience in Python, Numpy, Scikit, Pandas, ETL/SQL, BI tools in previous roles preferred

Require Skills: 

• Must Have – Direct hands-on experience working in Python for scripting automation analysis and Orchestration
• Must Have – Experience working with ML Libraries such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Pandas, NumPy etc.
• Must Have – Experience working with models such as Random forest, Kmeans clustering, BERT…
• Should Have – Exposure to querying warehouses and APIs
• Should Have – Experience with writing moderate to complex SQL queries
• Should Have – Experience analyzing and presenting data with BI tools or Excel
• Must Have – Very strong communication skills to work with technical and non technical stakeholders in a global environment

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Work with Business stakeholders, Business Analysts, Data Analysts to understand various data flows and usage.
• Analyse and present insights about the data and processes to Business Stakeholders
• Validate and test appropriate AI/ML models based on the prioritization and insights developed while working with the Business Stakeholders
• Develop and deploy customized models on Production data sets to generate analytical insights and predictions
• Participate in cross functional team meetings and provide estimates of work as well as progress in assigned tasks.
• Highlight risks and challenges to the relevant stakeholders so that work is delivered in a timely manner.
• Share knowledge and best practices with broader teams to make everyone aware and more productive.

Job Description

• Develop dynamic, customized, experiential e-learning courses and multimedia using a variety of technology tools.

• Work closely with (SMEs) throughout the project phases to ensure content accuracy and alignment with learning objectives.

• Effectively break down information into smaller, organized pieces for users, and learners to understand on their own in asynchronous learning.

• Design, maintain and distribute application training communication pieces to end-users.

• Remove or archive outdated content from a central repository.

• Deliver Train-the-Trainer (TTT) sessions.

• Recommend proven learning strategies to address business challenges.

• Responsible for developing and creating learning material in Articulate, DAP, and video software tools.

• With direction, convert ILT to online Articulate and video courses.

• Create new online courses using Articulate and other software.

• Develop outlines, write video scripts, and create graphics for application training.

• Knowledgeable in learning design principles and creating engaging content to illustrate basic to complex concepts and processes for adult learners.

• Highly organized self-starter, with the ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines with flexibility.

• Excellent written and verbal communication along with strong attention to detail and follow-through skills.

• Assist the eLearning Manager with special projects, as needed.

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience working in instructional design, learning and development, or an eLearning role and good experience in designing eLearning content for the Healthcare, Medtech or FinTech industry preferred.

• Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems and eLearning tools such as Articulate Rise and Vyond.

• Working knowledge of digital adoption platforms and graphic design and related tools.

Requirements:

• Hands on Experience on OneStream or Hyperion Planning/Essbase Applications.
• Implementation experience including Building application, modules, writing Business rules is must
• Must have Vb.net scripting experience or Essbase Calculation expertise is mandatory
• Hyperion Planning & Essbase is plus
• Cloud experience is preferred (Azure, GCP)
• Hands on Experience with SQL Server and RDBMS systems
• Understanding of Finance Business Functions (Budgeting, Forecasting), Financial Reporting

Nature of Work:

This being an advanced level position in the S/W development team the individual is expected to:
Participate as a team member in all phases of the S/W lifecycle, including the analysis and design of S/W systems.

Participate in a detailed level of coding, code walk – through and unit testing of S/W modules.
Participate in integrated testing of product/ package.

Participate in difficult and typical coding assignments with responsibility of a small module consisting of 3 – 5 members.

Participate in exploration/ feasibility study of products.
Have a thorough understanding of the assigned product/ project.

Participate in generating technical documentation of products/ packages.

Providing technical training to the juniors.
Manage allocated resources, keep compliance with discipline and decorum of the organization.

Keep compliance with Systems and Procedures.

Skill Set:
Thorough knowledge of current technological trends in Web based Software 

Strong Working knowledge of JSF/JSP, Servlets, Spring, Web application development and Core Java

• Working knowledge of working with databases using EJB.
• Knowledge of Bug Tracking tool such as Jira, Bugzilla and source code version control systems (SVN, GIT)
• Knowledge of working in Scrum methodology.
• Good to have knowledge of SonarQube and Web Security Aspects.
• Knowledge of Responsive Front End Development using HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, JQuery, Ajax and JSON.
• Should be able to write test cases for the feature.
• Ability to gather and analyze data & draw logical conclusions
