Shopify Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a Shopify Developer to manage, maintain, and enhance our Shopify websites. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building and managing Shopify e-commerce stores, including theme customization, app integrations, payment gateways, and overall website optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify websites
• Build and optimize product pages, collections, and landing pages
• Configure and manage payment gateways, shipping settings, and checkout flows
• Install, customize, and manage Shopify apps and integrations
• Improve website speed, performance, and user experience
• Troubleshoot website issues and ensure smooth day-to-day operations
• Coordinate with the design and marketing teams to implement campaigns and website updates
• Ensure websites are responsive, secure, and optimized for conversions

Requirements

• 1–3 years of hands-on Shopify development experience
• Experience building and managing Shopify e-commerce websites
• Strong knowledge of Shopify themes, Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify Admin
• Experience integrating payment gateways, shipping solutions, and third-party apps
• Understanding of Shopify SEO best practices and website performance optimization
• Experience with Git or version control is a plus

Accounting and Compliances

• Responsible for day to day accounting function of the organization 
• Responsible for monthly/ yearly book closing
• Responsible for all statutory compliances including TDS, RBI, MCA etc.
• Ensuring adequate controls are in place
• Managing the payroll process

Lender Management

• Accurately calculating the billing amounts 
• Managing the invoicing & collection process

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Responsible for the weekly/monthly MIS Reporting – internal as well as investor reporting 
• Analysing the variances from the forecasted numbers

Taxation

• Managing the Corporate taxes including the tax audit
• Managing in the Indirect taxes including Goods and Service Tax

Treasury

• Monitoring the day-to-day cash and bank movements to calculate the free cash flows
