Principal Software Architect

In partnership with a 1500 CR Conglomerate, we will be launching a combination of FinTech & Retail Marketplace focused on empowering Kirana Stores.  Formal registration, Business Plan finalization and  kick off  activities are work-in progress. We are looking for 15+ years experienced technology specialists for the role of Head of Engineering.

You will lead this new value stream help the platform scale up to servce over a 3 million user base in the next 3-5 years

Location ; Bangalore / Chennai 

Travel  : Would be required in the initial stages

You

• 9+ years experience developing highly scalable, distributed applications, products and services in Java or similar languages
• 3+ years of experience in team management, including hiring, building key projects and career management.
• Deep understanding of how distributed resilient software is built and deployed
• Entrepreneurial spirit, priding yourself on getting things done with a high level of quality
• Strong desire to work in an unstructured, fast moving startup environment
• Passionate Tech architect, retains narrow focus on research, system performance and scalability

Technology

Good knowledge of languages like Java, Python and web technologies (e.g. Javascript, HTML, CSS)

Expertise in front end and backend JS frameworks (e.g React JS, Angular, Node.js,)

Experience working in Agile frameworks and project management tools (e.g. Atlassian, Git)

Knowledge of deployment of distributed RESTful search platforms (like Elastic or Solr)

Experience in designing hyperscale architecture

Exposure to Microservices, AI/ML and Bigdata

Worked on at least one 0-1 initiative preferably IT product firms

Hands on ready to code any time (candidates who are interested only in advisory model, please excuse)

Candidates with good exposure working with OR algorithms would be given preference

Reasonably networked to be able to attract tech talent and build a large Engineering team independently

Requirements

• Minimum 3 Years of Experience.
• Extremely fluent in Database performance and tuning
• Knowledge in Web API
• Knowledge in Payment Gateway Integration
• Knowledge in Angular JS
• Good analytical, logic building and problem-solving skills
• Proper Reporting & Documentation
• Experience with Microsoft .NET technologies including, ASP.NET, MVC, Entity Framework
• Proven Skills with C#, SQL JavaScript/HTML, HTML-CSS, AJAX, jQuery, Web Services, etc.
• Excellent research capability.

Designation: Python/Django Developer (Backend)

Department: Software Engineering Team

Location: Whitefield (Bangalore)

Qualification: Any Computer (Graduate or Post Graduate)

Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience in building functional and efficient server-side applications using Python/Django with 2+ years of relevant experience in working with RDBMS.

Responsibilities:

1. Help design and implement functional requirements
2. Build efficient back-end features in Python
3. Integrate front-end components into applications
4. Manage testing and bug fixes
5. Prepare technical documentation
6. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement design into the code
7. Coach junior team members
8. Implement software enhancements and suggest improvements

Skills Required:

1. Experience with Python frameworks (e.g. Django, Flask, FastAPI)
2. Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud technologies
3. Excellent understanding of REST API Development and HTTP Methods
4. Understanding of databases and SQL
5. Good experience in working with RDBMS
6. Good understanding of computer science fundamentals - data structures, algorithms, memory management, performance.
7. Knowledge of web stack - javascript, html, web frameworks like React.js is a plus
8. Good understanding of Good Troubleshooting experience and exposure
9. Ability to work with Jr engineers, mentor, guide and help them
10. Enjoys coding and problem solving
11. Good communication skills. Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely
12. Familiarity with code versioning tools (such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial)

Salary: Upto 21LPA (Negotiable)

• A Master’s degree in business administration (MBA), Marketing
• Minimum 16 to 22 yrs of Sales experience in paper industry
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to travel regularly to different markets
• Proficiency with Microsoft office
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work well with little supervision

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
• Experience developing desktop and mobile applications
• Familiarity with common stacks
• Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
• Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. PHP, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js)
