Job Description:

• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and senior developers to understand business requirements and translate them into functional Angular web applications
• Develop reusable and maintainable Angular components under the guidance of senior developers
• Implement user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and TypeScript
• Learn and understand core Angular concepts such as components, directives, services, dependency injection, and routing
• Write clean, well-documented code adhering to best practices
• Assist with unit testing for Angular components to ensure functionality
• Participate in code reviews and actively learn from senior developers
• Stay curious and eager to learn new technologies and advancements in Angular

Requirements

Technical Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in web development (or a related field)

Responsibilities:

- Support software developers with database operations including the - development of complex SQL, tuning of DML and the creation of stored procedures.

- Develop high-quality database solutions.

- Use T-SQL to develop and implement procedures and functions.

- Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.

- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.

- Monitor, maintain database systems and troubleshoot problems that may arise.

- Maintain data integrity and security (manage roles and permissions of database users).

- Develop strategies and implement solutions for managing back-ups, migration, restoration and replication & create, manage constraints and indexes.

Requirements:

- Overall Experience Level: 4 to 8 Years

- Proven experience as an SQL Developer or similar role.

- Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming and Microsoft SQL Server.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Analysing user requirements, writing and testing code
• Developing existing programs by analysing existing code and identifying areas for modification
• Integrating existing software products with 3^rd party applications
• Undertakes feasibility study to design software solutions.
• Formulate, approve and recommend technical specifications.
• Responsible for ensuring quality delivery and code reviews.

Skills and Requirements:

• Have a minimum 2:1 degree in Computer Science or Maths with high levels of programming and 3 years’ hands-on technical skills
• Development of Single Page Application (SPA) applications written using Angular framework
• Development experience with .Net, C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net, MVC, Java/TypeScript, HTML & CSS
• Knowledge of SOA, Web API, RESTful JSON, SOAP web services and integration concepts
• Competent Data skills with Microsoft SQL
• Version control using Git and/or Subversion
• Exposure to devOps Continuous Integration and/or Continuous Delivery is a plus
• A working knowledge of SAP is advantageous.

Experience:

1. In-depth knowledge of Hadoop, Spark architecture and its components such as HDFS, YARN and executor, cores and memory param
2. Knowledge of Scala and Java both
3. Extensive experience in developing spark job. Should possess good Oops knowledge and be aware of enterprise application design patterns.
4. Good knowledge of Unix/Linux.
5. Experience working on large-scale software projects
6. Understanding the big picture and the various uses cases involved while crafting the solution and documenting them in Unified Modeling language.
7. Own and maintain the architecture document.

What you will be doing?

Glance is looking for a Data Scientist who will design and develop processes and systems to analyze high volume, diverse "big data" sources using advanced mathematical, statistical, querying, and reporting methods. Will use machine learning techniques and statistical analysis to predict outcomes and behaviors. Interacts with business partners to identify questions for data analysis and experiments. Identifies meaningful insights from large data and metadata sources; interprets and communicates insights and or prepares output from analysis and experiments to business partners. 

You will be working with Product leadership, taking high-level objectives and developing solutions that fulfil these requirements. Stakeholder management across Eng, Product and Business teams will be required.

Basic Qualifications:

• Five+ years experience working in a Data Science role
• Extensive experience developing and deploying ML models in real world environments
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or other analytical fields
• Exceptional familiarity with Python, Java, Spark or other open-source software with data science libraries
• Experience in advanced math and statistics
• Excellent familiarity with command line linux environment
• Able to understand various data structures and common methods in data transformation
• Experience deploying machine learning models and measuring their impact
• Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing recommendation systems
• Experience developing and deploying deep learning models
• Bachelor’s or Master's Degree or PhD that included coursework in statistics, machine learning or data analysis
• Five+ years experience working with Hadoop, a NoSQL Database or other big data infrastructure
