Backend Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Node.js Developer to join our team. In this role, you will work on a wide range of exciting projects, from building robust backend systems with Node.js to exploring NoCode platforms and integrating AI tools & solutions. 

Responsibilities

1. Node.js Development: Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and RESTful APIs using Node.js. Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability of server-side applications.
2. Relational Databases: Work with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) to design, create, and optimize database structures, and implement data models.
3. NoCode Platforms: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore and evaluate NoCode platforms for rapid application development and automation.
4. OpenAI API Integration: Utilize OpenAI APIs to integrate language generation and understanding capabilities into our applications.
5. Language Model Exploration: Perform exploratory tasks related to Language Models, such as creating and fine-tuning models, and experimenting with various use cases.
6. Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and ensure the efficient use of resources.
7. Security: Implement best practices for data security and access control, including user authentication and authorization.
8. Documentation: Maintain detailed technical documentation, including API documentation and database schemas.
9. Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers to ensure code quality and best practices are followed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years of proven experience as a Node.js developer with a strong portfolio of relevant projects.
• Solid experience with relational databases, including database design and SQL.
• Familiarity with NoCode platforms or a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Experience working with cloud services such as AWS or GCP, setting up instances, deploying applications. 
• Experience in implementing API caching using Redis or similar.  
• Understanding of OpenAI APIs and a strong interest in Language Model technologies.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and server-side scripting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with GraphQL.
• Experience with implementing queue management systems such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, SQS.
• Previous experience working with natural language processing (NLP) technologies.
• Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices.

Job Responsibilities :

• Must have knowledge of at least two PHP frameworks out of Laravel, Cakephp, CodeIgniter and YII.
• Must have basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery.
• Knowledge of CMS architectures like Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal etc. will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of eCommerce frameworks like WooCommerce, Magento, OpenCart etc will be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of Object-Oriented Concepts & a strong passion for Software Development.
• Strong Interaction and Design Sense
• Familiarity with LAMP stack (Apache, MySQL and phpMyAdmin)
• Comfortable with SQL and/or Script Programming.
• Experience in Designing & Developing Database in MySQL is a MUST.

1. The ideal candidate should possess expert-level knowledge in technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Node JS, MongoDB, Redis, Linux servers, and networking protocols (TCP and UDP). 5. Understanding of clustering and load balancing, including the ability to design and implement solutions that can improve the availability and scalability of the system.
6. Understanding of cyber security protocols and their application in the development and deployment of backend systems. This includes knowledge of best practices for securing systems, as well as the ability to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
7. Ability to implement CI/CD pipelines when needed. This includes an understanding of the various steps involved in creating, testing, and deploying code, as well as knowledge of the tools and technologies used to automate these processes.
8. Familiarity with tools such as NGINX or HAProxy and understanding how they can be used to improve the performance and scalability of the system.
9. Eagerness to learn and upgrade skills as per the demands of the product. This includes an ability to stay current with new technologies and best practices in the field, as well as a willingness to continuously improve one's own skills.
10. Proven experience in the industry and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The candidate should have a solid understanding of the financial markets and the technology used to support them.
11. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team. The candidate should be able to identify and solve complex problems and work effectively with others to achieve common goals.
12. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. The candidate should be able to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and work well in a team environment.

• B.Tech/B.E (preferably in Computer Science Engineering) 
• 7+ years of hands-on programming experience in building data-driven REST APIs, services & platforms using advanced Java frameworks like Spring, Redis, Node.js etc. with deep focus on integration & scale.
• We also look for hands-on experience with Mysql, Elasticsearch (or Solr) and Nosql stores.
• Our evaluation starts with focus on computer science fundamentals, data structures & algorithms.
• You will have been learning new technologies every week and prefer folks who can use golang/rust for backend development and are familiar with equivalent data stores, index stores and pub-sub technologies.
