Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Network Security Engineer with strong expertise in
firewall management, VPNs, and enterprise networking. The ideal candidate should have
hands-on experience with Palo Alto and Sophos firewalls, along with solid knowledge of
HPE Aruba switching and routing, to ensure secure and reliable network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage network security infrastructure
- Configure and maintain Palo Alto and Sophos firewalls
- Set up and manage VPNs (IPSec, SSL VPN, site-to-site, remote access)
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, threats, and vulnerabilities
- Implement and maintain network access control and segmentation
- Configure and troubleshoot HPE Aruba switches and routing protocols
- Manage VLANs, ACLs, NAT, and firewall policies
- Perform network performance monitoring and optimization
- Conduct periodic security audits, patching, and compliance checks
- Collaborate with Internal teams for secure infrastructure design
- Maintain documentation for configurations and security policies
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or B.Tech (or equivalent)
- 4–6 years of experience in network security and administration
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto and Sophos firewalls
- Strong understanding of VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL, site-to-site)
- Experience with HPE Aruba switching and routing
- Solid knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing
protocols like OSPF/BGP)
- Experience with NAT, ACLs, IDS/IPS, and security policies
- Familiarity with network monitoring and security tools
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as:
o Palo Alto (PCNSA/PCNSE)
o Sophos Certified Engineer
o CCNA / CCNP / Aruba certifications
- Experience in data center or enterprise network environments
- Exposure to cloud networking (AWS/Azure security groups, VPNs)
