We are seeking an experienced Guidewire InsuranceNow Technical Architect to lead solution design, architecture, and implementation for Property & Casualty insurance programs. The candidate will provide technical leadership, define best practices, and ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing InsuranceNow solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end architecture and solution design for InsuranceNow implementations.
• Define integration architecture with external systems, APIs, and third-party applications.
• Provide technical guidance to development and configuration teams.
• Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and architecture assessments.
• Ensure compliance with Guidewire best practices and enterprise standards.
• Support deployment, migration, and production releases.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in Guidewire InsuranceNow.
• Strong expertise in InsuranceNow architecture and configuration.
• Experience with REST APIs, integrations, cloud technologies, and middleware.
• Knowledge of P&C insurance processes (Policy, Billing, Claims).
• Strong stakeholder management and solutioning skills.

Skills:

Experience with Cassandra, including installing configuring and monitoring a Cassandra cluster.

Experience with Cassandra data modeling and CQL scripting. Experience with DataStax Enterprise Graph

Experience with both Windows and Linux Operating Systems. Knowledge of Microsoft .NET Framework (C#, NETCore).

Ability to perform effectively in a team-oriented environment

Responsibilities:

• Must be able to write quality code and build secure, highly available systems.
• Assemble large, complex datasets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing datadelivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc with the guidance.
• Create datatools for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in building and optimizing our product into an innovative industry leader.
• Monitoring performance and advising any necessary infrastructure changes.
• Defining dataretention policies.
• Implementing the ETL process and optimal data pipeline architecture
• Build analytics tools that utilize the datapipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics.
• Create design documents that describe the functionality, capacity, architecture, and process.

Skillsets:

• Good understanding of optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of datafrom a wide variety of data sources using SQL and AWS ‘big data’ technologies.
• Proficient understanding of distributed computing principles
• Experience in working with batch processing/ real-time systems using various open-source technologies like NoSQL, Spark, Pig, Hive, Apache Airflow.
• Implemented complex projects dealing with the considerable datasize (PB).
• Optimization techniques (performance, scalability, monitoring, etc.)
• Experience with integration of datafrom multiple data sources
• Experience with NoSQL databases, such as HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB, etc.,
• Knowledge of various ETL techniques and frameworks, such as Flume
• Experience with various messaging systems, such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Good understanding of Lambda Architecture, along with its advantages and drawbacks
• Creation of DAGs for dataengineering
• Expert at Python /Scala programming, especially for dataengineering/ ETL purposes

• Does analytics to extract insights from raw historical data of the organization. 
• Generates usable training dataset for any/all MV projects with the help of Annotators, if needed.
• Analyses user trends, and identifies their biggest bottlenecks in Hammoq Workflow.
• Tests the short/long term impact of productized MV models on those trends.
• Skills - Numpy, Pandas, SPARK, APACHE SPARK, PYSPARK, ETL mandatory. 

Mandatory: Hands on experience working with Swift 3 , Swift 4. Very strong logical skills. Good hold on operating system concepts and data structure. Experience with web services , core-data , camera kit , image caching concepts, keychain , past experience working with one of the design patterns like MVC / MVVM / Viper , network check.
