Frontend Developer (React.js) – Fresher | UI/UX Enthusiast

What You'll Do:

* Build modern, responsive, and high-performance web applications using React.js.

We're Looking For Someone Who Has

* Basic knowledge of *React.js, **JavaScript (ES6+), **HTML5, and **CSS3*.

* Good understanding of responsive web design principles.

* Interest in creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.

* Basic understanding of UI/UX concepts and design systems.

* Familiarity with Figma or similar design tools.

Education

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

* Candidates with strong self-learning experience and impressive projects are also encouraged to apply.

Experience: 

6+ years of experience in project management large and medium sized engagements 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Demonstrate excellent project management skills, inspire teamwork and responsibility with team members, provide project management expertise and leadership in the execution of complex software projects. 
• Accountable and responsible for managing and reporting project schedule, cost, quality, human resources, communication, risk and procurement for the project. 
• Consistently apply the defined project management standards and methodologies defined by the organization to assigned projects. Establish project management principles, processes, and artefacts as necessary. 
• Drive appropriate organizational change influencing stakeholders as required to ensure the successful program/project execution. 

• Ensure appropriate involvement of all stakeholders on the project as necessary 
• Plan and direct schedules, monitor budget/spending, resource allocation and utilization for the project from initiation through closure.  
• Manage project schedule and budgets – Track project metrics data (e.g., completed and in-progress work, schedule and cost variances, resource health, risks and issues etc.) and other project specific information and regularly communicate it to the project stakeholders 
• Report progress and health of the project and incorporate feedback from all stakeholders 
• Manage project communications and meetings (Daily Stand-Up Meetings, Project Reviews, AdHoc Requests) 

• Proactively manage or project risks, action items, issue resolutions, key decisions and stakeholder feedback 
• Understand dependencies and organize the activities ensuring successful completion of the project  
• Communicate regularly with the project sponsor and the team 
• Proactively identify and manage risks and issues pertaining to the project. 
• Ensure project governance practices are in place to monitor and control the project 

Experience/ Qualifications 

• PMP or similar certification with good understanding of project management and methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile 
• Strong stakeholder management skills 
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) 
• Solid decision making and prioritization skills 

• Good understanding of budgeting, estimation, and project financial management 
• Experience of working in shared resources environment with teams based across different time zones 
• Knowledge of MS Project for overall project tracking, Jira for tracking agile development and SharePoint as collaboration tool 
• Bachelors degree 

1.Strong skills and experience in (Java,  Javascript/Typescript, Go, Design Patterns, etc.).

2.Experience with Node.JS or Spring boot preferred.

3.Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.

4.Proficient in API and microservices architecture.

5.API documentation / specification tools (e.g. Swagger).

6.Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability with API testing frameworks / testing documentation (e.g. K6, JMeter, SoapUI, Postman,etc.).

7.Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.

8.Execution of software delivery. You are skilled at cloud architecture, testing, monitoring, alerting and are excited to apply these principles within the team.."

SiteRecon is looking for an Engineering Leader who can visualize the nuts and bolts of the product architecture and bring it to life. You will be responsible for leading the engineering team and contributing to product conception from an engineering standpoint. You will also be the thought leader for engineering in the team. 

You will lead the development of new smart web applications and you will be mainly involved in the development of our platform (SiteRecon). You will be working in an exciting environment alongside people with tremendous ambition. You will have the freedom to implement your own designs & solutions. You will be working together with the core team of SiteRecon - all graduates from IITs working at the cutting edge for the past few years, CEO, CPO, and CDS. 

Role and Responsibilities:

• Ensure high-quality customer experience through our products. 
• Hiring and retaining engineering teammates. 
• Inculcate a culture where high-quality engineers can thrive and grow. 
• Contribute to product conception from an engineering perspective.
• Take complete, end to end ownership of development and production pipelines of internal tools and consumer-facing products.
• Ensure high performance, reliability, and availability of hosted deep learning and geoprocessing services.
• Translate high-level tasks and product requirement documents into technical design documents and scalable, maintainable and readable codebases.
• Develop and implement high and low-level system design for engineering projects.
• Develop scripts and set up the infrastructure for monitoring and logging for all deployed software.
• Coordinate with internal teams to understand data processing pipelines and provide technical solutions.
• Effectively lead teams of junior developers and ensure high code quality through code reviews, automated linting, etc.
• Represent engineering team before stakeholders outside SiteRecon (users, investors, job candidates)

Does This Sound Like You?

Must Haves:  

• 3+ years of experience in the backend (preferably Django), frontend and software design and architecture.
• Experience with DevOps technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins or CI/CD.
• Knowledge of messaging services like Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ.
• Understanding of cloud services like AWS and GCP.
• Experience working at a startup that scaled while you were there.
• Experience managing a team, converting product requirements into engineering sow.

Good To Haves:  

• Experience with PostGIS or any other geo-database.
• Understanding of Geographic Information Systems and related terminologies.
• Experience in developing production versions of deep learning applications.
