
Key Responsibilities:
Endpoint Security and Device Management (Intune and Defender):
- Monitor device compliance using Microsoft Intune as per Galaxy Surfactants' endpoint security policies.
- Track Microsoft Defender for Endpoint alerts and escalate incidents as appropriate.
- Conduct first-level troubleshooting (e.g., malware detection, device non-compliance).
- Coordinate with SOC or L2 teams for efficient incident response and resolution.
Azure Security and Management:
- Monitor alerts and insights from Azure Security Center, Microsoft Sentinel, and Defender for Cloud.
- Escalate critical vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, or unusual activity to L2/L3 teams.
- Conduct routine checks on compliance dashboards and flag anomalies.
Server Security and Hardening:
- Monitor server health and relevant security alerts, including antivirus and patch status.
- Perform basic server access log reviews and report discrepancies as per Galaxy Surfactants standards.
- Support vulnerability tracking efforts and escalate to infrastructure or L2 teams when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in IT security operations or endpoint management.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Intune, Defender for Endpoint, and Azure Security tools.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of incident management processes and escalation protocols.
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to Microsoft Sentinel and Azure Defender.
- Experience working in a SOC or security-focused environment.
