Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in backend development and AI systems. You will build scalable platforms, AI-powered agents, and real-time voice applications.

What You’ll Do

● Design and develop scalable backend services using Python

● Build microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems

● Develop AI-powered agents using LLM frameworks and multi-agent systems

● Work on voice systems using STT/TTS and real-time streaming architectures

● Integrate APIs, vector databases, and RAG-based systems

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers

What We’re Looking For

● 5+ years of experience in software development

● Strong proficiency in Python.

● Experience with microservices and distributed systems

● Hands-on experience with LLMs and agent frameworks (LangChain, AutoGen, etc.)

● Familiarity with vector DBs, embeddings, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)

● Good communication skills and ownership mindset

Nice to Have

● Experience with voice systems (STT/TTS) and real-time architecture

● Exposure to MCP or similar frameworks

● Experience building AI copilots or multi-modal systems

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for trading applications.

- Work with product owners and business analysts to understand and write the acceptance test cases.

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and create test plans.

- Perform regression, performance, and end to end testing to ensure software reliability.

- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools and methodologies.

- Maintain and enhance existing test automation frameworks for both frontend and backend.

- Report on coverage, functionality, defect aging, closure reports to the stakeholders so that they know the stability of releases.

- Integrate automation cases into CI/CD pipelines

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven 5+ Years experience in automation testing for web and backend applications.

- Strong knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, Playwright).

- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI, RestAssured).

- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.

- Understanding of basic SQL queries to validate data in the databases

- Understanding of CI/CD processes and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

- Prior experience with trading applications or core financial services related applications is a big plus

Design, develop and maintain robust test automation frameworks for financial applications

 Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements and user stories

 Execute functional, regression, integration, and API testing with a focus on financial data integrity

 Validate complex financial calculations, transaction processing, and reporting functionalities

 Collaborate with Business Analysts and development teams to understand requirements and ensure complete test coverage

 Implement automated testing solutions within CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery

 Perform data validation testing against financial databases and data warehouses

 Identify, document, and track defects through resolution using defect management tools

 Verify compliance with financial regulations and industry standards

The Observability team is in charge of developing solutions that focus on application developers and engineers that run infrastructure and services supporting these applications. Elasticsearch is an efficient datastore for logs, metrics, and application traces, supporting the three pillars of observability. You will be working on Observability Integrations to collect logs and metrics from all the systems that matter to our users, using the current and next generation of data shippers: Beats and the new Elastic Agent.

Job Location : Bangalore, India

• Work with product management to define the requirements for new https://github.com/elastic/integrations">integrations: data collection strategies, storage optimization, alerting and visualization options, refining requirements, translating requirements to stories and epics, and performing detailed scoping of features
• Develop, maintain and evolve https://github.com/elastic/integrations">integrations for multiple services using the Elastic Stack and https://github.com/elastic/elastic-package">specific tooling. For some projects, contributions to the https://github.com/elastic/beats">beats platform will be needed (Go).
• Work with our support team to help customers troubleshoot and solve their issues in production environments, ensuring SLAs are met.
• Interact with the community and help them use our products.
• Collaborate with other engineering, QA and documentation teams to execute on product deliverables.

• Experience operating or developing monitoring products, such as Elastic (ELK, Elastic Observability),  Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, New Relic, etc.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Go, Java, PHP, Python, Ruby, C++,  we use Go) with strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work in a distributed team.
• Experience participating in technical decision-making across different engineering teams.

• Interest in learning new technologies.
• Experience contributing to open source projects.
• Hands-on experience managing cloud services at scale.
• Experience in SRE and / or DevOps roles.
• Experience monitoring or operating container orchestrators (Kubernetes, etc).

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Programming Language: Python. 
• Familiarity with some ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries Experience in Python web framework such as Django, Flask, etc.
• Good Knowledge in any SQL database administration Understanding of the threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architecture.
• Experience in developing modular plugins for any open source enterprise business web applications
• Knowledge in integrating third-party applications using any web service is also preferred.
• Strong background in Object-Oriented Programming Strong experience in PostgreSQL. Knowledge in HTML 5, CSS and XML/RML is must.
