Job Description:

• Strong understanding of ATG, BCC, eCommerce and Catalog areas.

• Excellent system analysis and design skills

• Subject matter expertise in the following o Commerce Platforms (e.g. ATG)

• Previous experience with integration of Commerce Platforms .

• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills

• Strong influencing skills in order to be able to sell ideas to the internal team as well as Walmart global partners

• Prompt and effective decision-making skills

• Experience with the large scale on Java / J2EE online transactional retail applications

• Expertise in User Experience, Accessibility, and Compliance to various standards for both Site and Colleague facing tools .

• Experience working in a multi-tenant or "Software-as-a-Service" (SaaS) eCommerce company

• Experience designing systems for extremely high traffic and transaction volumes

• Experience in similar roles at prominent Internet companies, with detailed knowledge about scalability issues and solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the evolution of team best practices, standards and policies.
• Stay current with the periodic Salesforce releases and leverage the updates applicable to the ORG.
• Support all Salesforce releases and ensure system uptime as per the SLA.
• Work on small autonomous teams to build applications on Salesforce platform.
• Create and maintain Visualforce pages and Lightning web components.
• Configure Salesforce.com and Integrate with 3rd party tools as needed.
• Work with other technology teams in order to facilitate interfaces between Salesforce.com and other systems.
• Being open to explore solutions outside of Salesforce technology stack.

Requirements:

• +1 years of experience working as a developer in any Object Oriented Development platform such as Java or Ruby on Rails or .Net
• +2 years of experience developing on the Salesforce.com plattform.
• Experience with Salesforce.com developer toolkit including Apex Classes, Apex WebServices (with REST and SOAP standards), Apex Controllers, Triggers, Visualforce pages, Batch Apex, Apex Schedulers, Custom Settings, Custom Labels, SOQL and Migration Tools.
• Strong foundations of basic software development principles: Design patterns, Modular programming, Object Oriented design and Microservices.
• Ability to work with various Salesforce customer portals, communities and sites technologies.
• Well versed on SQL, PL/SQL and RDBMS technologies.
• Good to have skills on J2EE frameworks and tools such as Spring, Maven, Servlets, JSP, JUnit, etc.
• Proven experience with front end technologies such as JQuery, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS and HTML.
• Demonstrate excellent understanding of various governor limits applicable to Salesforce.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively work in a team environment with minimal supervision.

1. Managing  initiatives for migration and modernization in AWS cloud environment 
2. Leads and builds Modernization architecture solution from (on-prem or VMWare) into modern platform (Cloud AWS) through modular design by understanding application components 
3. Leads and SME in Modernization methodology and can lead the Design thinking workshop, method tailoring as Client environment and Client industry

Qualifications:

1. Is Education overrated? Yes. We believe so. But there is no way to locate you otherwise. So we might look for at least a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in engineering from a reputed institute or you should be programming from 12. 
1. And the latter is better. We will find you faster if you specify the latter in some manner. Not just a degree, but we are not too thrilled by tech certifications too :)
2. Architects with 10+ total and 6+ years of experience on Modernization applications and led Architecture initiatives on AWS Modernization.
3. Managed and implemented at least 5 engagement modernizing client applications to AWS Cloud and on WebSphere and Java/J2EE or .NET.
4. Experience on using DevOps tools during Modernization.
5. Complete in-depth experience and knowledge of AWS as a product and its components.
6. AWS certification would be preferred.
7. Experience in Agile fundamentals and methodology.
