Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Executive at Nirmitee.io in Pune. The Business Development Executive will be responsible for new business development, lead generation, business communication, and account management on a day-to-day basis.

Required:

• Experience: 1-4 years
• IT sales experience for IT products and services
• Handling overseas clients is required.
• Experience in using Upwork and LinkedIn is a must.

Responsibilities:

• Market Research: Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industries for business development opportunities.
• Lead Generation: Generate leads through various channels such as cold calling, email campaigns, Upwork, Linkedin, and networking events.
• Client Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients through effective communication and follow-up to understand their needs and requirements.
• Proposal Preparation: Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and pitches for potential clients, highlighting the company's products or services.
• Sales Support: Provide support to the sales team in identifying opportunities, preparing sales collateral, and coordinating meetings with clients.
• Pipeline Management: Manage and maintain a pipeline of leads and opportunities, tracking progress and updating CRM systems accordingly.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and improve sales strategies.

Job Overview:

The BMS Project Manager is responsible for the management of Building Management System projects from design to completion. This role involves overseeing the design, installation, and commissioning and handing over of BMS solutions, ensuring all technical, quality, and safety standards are met. The Project Manager will collaborate with Consultants, PMC, clients, engineers, Internal team and Sub-contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of BMS systems that meet the required specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Execute the BMS projects, including scope definition, project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure all project deliverables are met.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and work breakdown structures.
• Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Manage and lead a team of engineers, technicians, Sub-contractor and other staff involved in the BMS project.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration between project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Conduct regular team meetings to track progress and resolve issues.
• Work closely with design engineers to ensure that the BMS design meets client requirements and industry standards.
• Review technical specifications and drawings for the installation of BMS systems.
• Oversee the procurement of BMS equipment and materials, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and on-time delivery.
• Ensure all required certifications and compliance with regulations for the BMS systems are met.
• Monitor the progress of the project to ensure it is on schedule and within budget.
• Ensure that all work meets quality standards and industry regulations.
• Oversee the commissioning process and troubleshoot issues during system testing.
• Maintain regular communication with clients/Consultants, providing updates on project status, milestones, and potential challenges.
• Prepare Daily progress reports, including financial summaries, timelines, and project performance.
• Address client concerns and provide solutions to any technical or operational issues.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed during the installation and commissioning of BMS systems.
• Comply with local and international building codes, regulations, and standards.
• Manage the project closeout process, ensuring all deliverables are completed and handed over to the client.
• Prepare and review final documentation, including system manuals, warranties, and certificates.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to assess performance and identify areas for improvement
• Minimum 8 years of experience managing BMS or similar building automation projects.
• Proven experience in managing large teams and large-scale projects.
• Strong understanding of building systems, HVAC, lighting, energy management, and related technologies.
• Experience with BMS platforms (e.g., Johnson Controls, Honeywell, Siemens, Trane etc).
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Build scalable and loosely coupled services to extend our platform
• Build bulletproof API integrations with third-party APIs for various use cases
• Evolve our Infrastructure and add a few more nines to our overall availability
• Have full autonomy and own your code, and decide on the technologies and tools to deliver as well operate large-scale applications on AWS
• Give back to the open-source community through contributions on code and blog posts
• This is a startup so everything can change as we experiment with more product improvements

Some specific Requirements:

• Atleast 2+ years of Development Experience
• You have prior experience developing and working on consumer-facing web/app products
• Hands-on experience in JavaScript. Exceptions can be made if you’re really good at any other language with experience in building web/app-based tech products
• Expertise in Node.JS and Experience in at least one of the following frameworks - Express.js, Koa.js, Socket.io (http://socket.io/)
• Good knowledge of async programming using Callbacks, Promises, and Async/Await
• Hands-on experience with Frontend codebases using HTML, CSS, and AJAX
• Working knowledge of MongoDB, Redis, MySQL
• Good understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Operating Systems
• You've worked with AWS services in the past and have experience with EC2, ELB, AutoScaling, CloudFront, S3
• Experience with Frontend Stack would be added advantage (HTML, CSS)
• You might not have experience with all the tools that we use but you can learn those given the guidance and resources
• Experience in Vue.js would be plus

• Own definition and implementation of API interfaces (REST and GraphQL). We take pride in our 100% open API with over 600 endpoints.
• Implement simple solutions to complex business logic that enables our merchants to manage financials, orders and shipments across millions of transactions.
• Build reusable components and packages for future use.
• Translate specs and user stories into reviewable, test covered patches.
• Peer review code and refactor existing code.
• Integrate with our eCommerce partners (Shopify, BigCommerce, Amazon), shipping partners (UPS, USPS, FedEx, DHL) and EDI.
• Manage Kubernetes and Docker based global deployment of our infrastructure.

Requirements We’re Looking for Someone With:

• Experience working with ORMs like SQLAlchemy or Django (2-3 years)
• Experience with SQL and databases (Postgres preferred)
• Experience in developing large server side applications and microservices
• Ability to create high quality code
• Experience with python testing tools (pytest) and test automation
• Familiarity with code versioning tools like GIT
• Strong sense of ownership and leadership quality
