A Desktop Support Engineer is responsible for providing technical assistance to end users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth IT operations. The role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems, peripherals, and network connections while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Provide first-level support for software, hardware, and network-related issues.
• Assist users with operating system, application, and connectivity problems.
• Perform system updates, patch installations, and regular maintenance.
• Maintain and manage IT assets, ensuring proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve printer, scanner, and other peripheral issues.
• Support remote users through phone, email, or remote desktop tools.
• Collaborate with IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
• Ensure security protocols and best practices are followed for system safety.
• Document solutions, processes, and user issues for future reference.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and basic Linux troubleshooting.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, email configurations, and software installations.
• Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi).
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting hardware components.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, user account management, and system policies.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
• 1-2 years of experience in desktop support or IT helpdesk roles.
• Certifications like CompTIA A+, ITIL, or Microsoft Certified are a plus.

Expectations from the role –

·        Designing and building the website front-end.

·        Creating the website architecture.

·        Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.

·        Generating WordPress themes and plugins.

·        Conducting website performance tests.

·        Troubleshooting content issues.

·        Monitoring the performance of the live website

·        Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer.

·        Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.

·        Knowledge of code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, and SVN.

·        Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.

·        Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics. 

Responsibilities:

• Understanding requirements from the product manager and translating to technical specifications
• DB schema development
• API development (structuring REST endpoints + real-time endpoints like socket.io integration)
• Integrating 3rd party services for payments, email, whatsapp, and other such services
• Optimizing our current architecture & processes for scale (we expect usage to go up)
• Guiding junior developers on best coding practices

Requirements:

• Experience in at least one Python-based Web Framework like Flask or Django
• Experience in SQL databases & API design
• Experience with Docker
• Hands on experience in full lifecycle development and deployment of a platform/system
• Being a self-starter with the ability to thrive in ambiguous and high pressure scenarios working towards a common goal with other teams

1. Connecting with minimum 80 working professionals (prospective students) each day

from the leads/database present on leadsquared CRM

1. Generating a pool of prospects by identifying the need of upskilling depending on

the student’s area of interest

1. Helping prospective students with the detailed information about the programs

offered through phone or video counselling & create a strong pipeline

1. Ensure to meet daily deliverables & achieve weekly/monthly enrolment target

What you need to have:

Expected Skills :-

• Knowledge/Application of data structures and algorithms.-
• Problem-solving attitude : This means when you face a problem (not necessarily technical), your natural reaction is "How can I solve it best" rather than "How can I get out of it/avoid it/overlook it"-
• Working knowledge in Java(SpringFramework) is a must.
• Working knowledge in ReactJs is a plus.- Working knowledge in Python, MongoDB is a plus.
