We are seeking a skilled Frontend Engineer with a strong background in React.js development to join our dynamic team. As a Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional user experiences and implementing frontend solutions that align with our business goals. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality scalable, and maintainable software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain frontend components and features using React.js/nextJs.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Optimise application performance for maximum speed and scalability.
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and provide constructive feedback.
• Work closely with backend engineers to integrate frontend interfaces with backend APIs.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest front-end technologies and industry trends.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth functioning of the application.
• Contribute to the overall architecture and design of the front-end application.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in front-end development.
• Proficiency in React.js and its core principles.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or MobX.
• Familiarity with frontend build tools such as Webpack, Babel, etc.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

1. Proven experience as a React.js and Laravel Developer.
2. In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, React.js, and Laravel.
3. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
4. Experience with state management libraries such as Redux.
5. Solid understanding of the full web development process, from design to deployment.
6. Knowledge of version control (e.g., Git).
7. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).

Nice to Have:

1. Experience with other front-end libraries/frameworks (Vue.js, Angular, etc.).
2. Knowledge of serverless architecture.
3. Experience with database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
4. Familiarity with Docker and containerization.

Role Description:

• You will be part of the data delivery team and will have the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of the domain/function.
• You will design and drive the work plan for the optimization/automation and standardization of the processes incorporating best practices to achieve efficiency gains.
• You will run data engineering pipelines, link raw client data with data model, conduct data assessment, perform data quality checks, and transform data using ETL tools.
• You will perform data transformations, modeling, and validation activities, as well as configure applications to the client context. You will also develop scripts to validate, transform, and load raw data using programming languages such as Python and / or PySpark.
• In this role, you will determine database structural requirements by analyzing client operations, applications, and programming.
• You will develop cross-site relationships to enhance idea generation, and manage stakeholders.
• Lastly, you will collaborate with the team to support ongoing business processes by delivering high-quality end products on-time and perform quality checks wherever required.

• 1-5 years of experience in building and maintaining robust data pipelines, enriching data, low-latency/highly-performance data analytics applications.
• Experience handling complex, high volume, multi-dimensional data and architecting data products in streaming, serverless, and microservices-based Architecture and platform.
• Experience in Data warehousing, Data modeling, and Data architecture.
• Expert level proficiency with the relational and NoSQL databases.
• Expert level proficiency in Python, and PySpark.
• Familiarity with Big Data technologies and utilities (Spark, Hive, Kafka, Airflow).
• Familiarity with cloud services (preferable AWS)
• Familiarity with MLOps processes such as data labeling, model deployment, data-model feedback loop, data drift.

Key Roles/Responsibilities:

• Act as a technical leader for resolving problems, with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Identifying and solving issues with data pipelines regarding consistency, integrity, and completeness.
• Lead data initiatives, architecture design discussions, and implementation of next-generation BI solutions.
• Partner with data scientists, tech architects to build advanced, scalable, efficient self-service BI infrastructure.
• Provide thought leadership and mentor data engineers in information presentation and delivery.

Your work at Finin:
As our primary android developer , you are expected to

1. Build a light-weight, low latent Android applications with limited or no dependency on third-party modules.
2. Build application logic & develop user facing features in Kotlin.
3. Build reusable components & front-end libraries for future use, as and wherever needed.
4. Translate designs & wireframes into high-quality code.
5. Define front-end architecture, document, estimate scope, & deliver on time.
6. Plan for new technology insertion & trade-offs in development.

Further, as any early stage start-up, we expect you to be comfortable wearing multiple hats, & be a proactive contributor towards building something truly remarkable.

Candidate profile:

1. At least 4 years of professional experience building native projects for Android.
2. Have at least two live projects.
3. Practical knowledge of working with RESTful APIs, & version control tools such as git.
4. Experience creating custom libraries.
5. Proficiency in various software design patterns.
6. Accountable & a proactive communicator.
7. Has worked in agile or iterative environment. Can estimate scope & prioritise.
8. Independent problem solver. Comfortable with ambiguity & fast pace start-up work culture.
