React Native Developer

Job Description: 

We are seeking an experienced React Native Developer with over 4 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile development, particularly with React Native, and a passion for creating high-quality, scalable applications. You will play a key role in the development and maintenance of our cross-platform mobile applications, ensuring seamless integration with our web solutions and a superior user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mobile Development: Develop, maintain, and optimize React Native applications for both iOS and Android platforms.

• Integration: Work closely with back-end developers to integrate mobile applications with APIs and other services.

• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers, to deliver a cohesive product experience.

• Performance Optimization: Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications by identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions.

• Code Reviews: Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and company guidelines.

• Testing: Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure the reliability and robustness of the application.

• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for code and APIs.

• Stay Updated: Keep up with the latest industry trends and technologies, and continuously improve the development process.

Qualifications:

       •  Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field        (or equivalent work experience) 

• Experience: 4+ years of experience in mobile development, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience with React Native.

• Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript and strong experience with React Native, including working with state management libraries (such as Redux or MobX) and navigation libraries.

• Platform Knowledge: Solid understanding of mobile development for both iOS and Android, including platform-specific considerations.

• Performance: Experience with performance optimization techniques for mobile applications.

• Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

• TypeScript: Experience with TypeScript for type safety and better code maintainability.

• UI/UX Understanding: Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and ability to collaborate effectively with designers.

• Back-End Knowledge: Basic understanding of back-end technologies and APIs to facilitate seamless integration.

• Testing Frameworks: Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha.

• CI/CD: Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

• App Store Deployment: Experience with deploying applications to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store

We are looking for an experienced mobile developer to join Triveous and help us in our journey to create world-class mobile products. She/He will be responsible for executing the entire mobile app development lifecycle. That includes understanding product requirements, writing requirement-related documentation, and writing high-quality code and tests.

You need to have a solid track record of building real-world mobile products that have been launched on the play/app store.

Since this is a remote role, you would need to be self-motivated and proactive in all the work that you do.

Qualifications And Professional Knowledge

• Should have at least 2 years of work experience in native Cross-platform frameworks like Flutter/React Native and Android
• Should have published one or more apps on the play/app store
• Must have strong expertise in programming languages like Kotlin or Dart
• Very strong in computer fundamentals, data structures, and database design.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Location: Remote(Preferably located in India)

S/he will be responsible for complete react-native development and collaborate as required with product management and user experience teams. ● S/he will architect and design product features with a focus on maintainability, extensibility, scalability, and lowest operational cost. ● S/he will be responsible for undertaking proof-of-concept work where required. ● S/he will be responsible for coding and implementing features with very high coverage of unit tests and component tests ● S/he will be responsible for managing a team of android/reactive native developers, and perform design and code reviews. ● S/he will continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency What are we looking for? ● S/he must have experience in delivering projects using react native ensuring performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications ● S/he must have strong design and programming skills in Kotlin, JavaScript, Typescript, react components, Android SDK, Android Studio, SDK, RXJava, HTML5, CSS3, JS, RWD and other mobile frameworks and /or accelerators. ● S/he must have experience with offline storage, multi-threading, performance tuning, memory tuning and RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services ● S/he must have experience with Model-View View-Model, Model View Presenter software architecture, retrofit, and dagger among others

● S/he must have unit-testing the code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. ● S/he must have experience in mobile analytics. ● S/he must have experience in designing, optimizing and integrating business processes across disparate systems and mobile technologies.

We are looking for a React Native developer interested in building performant mobile apps on both the iOS and Android platforms.

You will be responsible for architecting and building these applications, as well as coordinating with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure. Building a product is a highly collaborative effort, and as such, a strong team player with a commitment to perfection is required.

6. Transition existing React web apps to React Native.

• You have at least 3-year experience implementing and deploying React Native apps.
• You developed and published at least one React Native app on Google and Apple Store.
• You are familiar with Google and Apple Store guidelines and compliance.

• You have strong knowledge of Javascript ES6 and higher.
• You know how to make a solid relational data model and have a good knowledge of SQL.
• You have integrated a variety of web API's and understand HTTP.
• You know how to write clean and flexible object-oriented code.
• You have a good understanding of async programming concepts.
• You work daily with tools like Git, NPM and a proper IDE (Webstorm).
• You can deliver POCs, experiments and technology evaluations following design thinking practices.
• You will be contributing towards architecting and building React Native applications, as well as coordinating with the teams responsible for other layers of the product/project infrastructure.
• You write clean code and are a pragmatic programmer.

• You wish Typescript was the default language of the web.
• You stepped outside the Expo world and have experience with native iOS or Android development. You are familiar with XCode and Android studio, and leverage native APIs for deep integration with Android and iOS.
• You have experience with state management libraries like MobX and Redux.
• You write automated tests and perform end-to-end testing with Detox or Appium.
• You are familiar with functional programming concepts and apply it occasionally.
• You worked with other hybrid mobile platforms like Sencha, HTML5, PhoneGap, etc.
