Job brief 

We are looking for a qualified Database developer to design stable and reliable databases, according to our company’s needs. You will be responsible for developing, testing, improving and maintaining new and existing databases to help users retrieve data effectively.

As part of our IT team, you will work closely with developers to ensure system consistency. You will also collaborate with administrators and clients to provide technical support and identify new requirements. Communication and organization skills are keys for this position, along with a problem-solution attitude.

Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our database systems run effectively and securely on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Optimize and maintain legacy systems
• Modify databases according to requests and perform tests
• Solve database usage issues and malfunctions
• Liaise with developers to improve applications and establish best practices
• Gather user requirements and identify new features
• Develop technical and training manuals
• Provide data management support to users
• Ensure all database programs meet company and performance requirements
• Research and suggest new database products, services and protocols

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Database developer (5+ Years)
• In-depth understanding of data management (e.g. permissions, recovery, security and monitoring)
• Knowledge of software development and user interface web applications
• Advanced proficiency and hands on experience with T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Cursors, Triggers, Schedulers etc.
• Familiarity working with MS SQL Server, MySQL, .Net Framework, java
• Excellent analytical and organization skills
• An ability to understand front-end users’ requirements and a problem-solving attitude
• Ability to craft detailed technical manuals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• BE/MCA/MSc Degree in Computer Science or relevant field.

Responsibilities & Duties: 

Making Calls to Customers, Maintaining the Database

Lead Verification

Handle client queries/escalations.

Maintain relations with the existing clients and ask to upgrade their packages or renewals

Qualifications: Any Graduate

• Must have knowledge of at least two PHP frameworks out of Laravel, Cakephp, CodeIgniter and YII.
• Must have basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery.
• Knowledge of CMS architectures like Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal etc. will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of eCommerce frameworks like WooCommerce, Magento, OpenCart etc will be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of Object-Oriented Concepts & a strong passion for Software Development.
• Strong Interaction and Design Sense
• Familiarity with LAMP stack (Apache, MySQL and phpMyAdmin)
• Comfortable with SQL and/or Script Programming.
• Experience in Designing & Developing Database in MySQL is a MUST.

• Creating and managing ETL/ELT pipelines based on requirements
• Build PowerBI dashboards and manage datasets needed.
• Work with stakeholders to identify data structures needed for future and perform any transformations including aggregations.
• Build data cubes for real-time visualisation needs and CXO dashboards.

Required Tech Skills

• Microsoft PowerBI & DAX
• Python, Pandas, PyArrow, Jupyter Noteboks, ApacheSpark
• Azure Synapse, Azure DataBricks, Azure HDInsight, Azure Data Factory

The job requires the candidate to work on Wordpress multisite and PHP -

• Design and implement applications/sites in WordPress
• Lead and Mentor technical team for all maintenance and new site tasks
• To pro-actively address all technical issues and coordinate with India and UK teams
• Participate in agile development process to ensure project deliverables are met, on time and of high quality
• Managing and delivery of projects from conceptualization, visualization to technology mapping and final execution of projects
• Monitoring development activities and reporting project progress
• Understand specification document and perform coding as per the requirements and standards
• Good knowledge on SQL Queries. Should be able to create and execute moderate to complex queries.   

Skills:

• Expert in PHP, WordPress & other open source tools
• Strong knowledge in JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery, XML, XHTML, HTML5, CSS & knowledge of working with third party web services
• Knowledge on Ecommerce (Payment Gateways, Shopping Carts, SEO Friendliness Coding, etc.)
• SQL and MySQL
• Desired Candidate Profile:
• Master’s degree (B Tech)/MCA
• Min 9-11 years of experience in PHP
• Strong programming skills
• Good aptitude and problem-solving skills

• Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns
• Design, build and maintain our social media presence
• Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
• Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
• Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
• Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
• Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience
• Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
