Role & Responsibilities

As a Software Development Engineer - 3, Backend Engineer at company, you will play a critical role in architecting, designing, and delivering robust backend systems that power our platform. You will lead by example, driving technical excellence and mentoring peers while solving complex engineering problems. Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership-

• Design and develop highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and maintainable backend systems using Java and related frameworks.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
• Review code and ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.

System Architecture and Design-

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and frontend engineers, to translate business requirements into efficient technical solutions.
• Own the architecture of core modules and contribute to overall platform scalability and reliability.
• Advocate for and implement microservices architecture, ensuring modularity and reusability.

Problem Solving and Optimization-

• Analyze and resolve complex system issues, ensuring high availability and performance of the platform.
• Optimize database queries and design scalable data storage solutions.
• Implement robust logging, monitoring, and alerting systems to proactively identify and mitigate issues.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement-

• Stay updated on emerging backend technologies and incorporate relevant advancements into our systems.
• Identify and drive initiatives to improve codebase quality, deployment processes, and team productivity.
• Contribute to an advocate for a DevOps culture, supporting CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.

Collaboration and Communication-

• Act as a liaison between the backend team and other technical and non-technical teams, ensuring smooth communication and alignment.
• Document system designs, APIs, and workflows to maintain clarity and knowledge transfer across the team.

Ideal Candidate

• Strong Java Backend Engineer.
• Must have 5+ years of backend development with strong focus on Java (Spring / Spring Boot)
• Must have been SDE-2 for at least 2.5 years
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, multithreading, and async programming
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• Exposure to Kafka/RabbitMQ and Redis/Memcached
• Experience with AWS / GCP / Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices
• Product companies (B2B SAAS preferred)
• have stayed for at least 2 years with each of the previous companies
• (Education): B.Tech in computer science from Tier 1, Tier 2 colleges

Job Role:

The role is for an SAP UI5 Consultant responsible for developing and enhancing web applications using SAP UI5 and related technologies.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop Fiori-like web applications based on SAPUI5.
2. Implement REST Web services and enhancements to SAP Fiori apps.
3. Work with Web Technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
4. Participate in knowledge transfers and evaluate new technologies.
5. Understand and implement software architecture for enterprise applications.

Qualifications:

The candidate should have a BA/BE/BTech qualification with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to work flexible hours is necessary.

• Perform installation, setup, and configuration of hardware such as x86-based servers, NAS storage systems, Troubleshooting capabilities of Windows Server OS, Sound knowledge of AD, DNS, Group policy etc, tape drives and tape libraries, LAN switches (Layer 2 and Layer 3), desktop computer and notebooks.
• Perform installation, setup, and configuration of server and desktop operating systems, such as Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2019 and newer, Microsoft Windows 10 and newer, Linux (Red Hat Enterprise Server, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server), standard applications on desktops such as Microsoft Office 365, email clients, antivirus clients, encryption etc.
• Upgrade hardware components such as hard disks, memory, I/O adapters in servers and storage systems.
• Upgrade Operating Systems and install patches and troubleshooting of OS.
• Perform installation, setup, and configuration of data backup / restore solutions such as Symantec Backup Exec / NetBackup, and able to provide advice to customers on backup policies.
• Remote operation of Data centre
• Knowledge of LAN, WAN, IP segments, basic installation of Firewall, L3/L2 switches, router etc will be added advantage
• To find out and understand the detail requirements of configuration settings from customers before installation and configuration starts.

Responsibilities

As a Frontend Developer (Next.js) you will be responsible for -

•  Building the Complete UI/UX of our web application from scratch.
• Work closely with the Backend Engineer to integrate the algorithmic output from the backend REST APIs.
• Work closely with the product owners to create dynamic infographics with intuitive user controls.
• Work closely with our web Designer for bringing design to life.
• Participate in UAT, troubleshoot, bugs and application integration issues

Qualification & Experience

• 2-3 years of demonstrable experience designing, building and working as a Next.js Developer for enterprise web application
• Ideally, this would include the following:
• Expert-level proficiency with Next.js and all its concepts
• Expert-level proficiency with JavaScript (ES6), HTML5 & CSS
• Expert-level proficiency with ReactJS and all its concepts like Hooks and Redux
• Familiarity with Python, Django, and Django Rest Framework
• Understanding of REST concepts and interacting with REST APIs
• Deep understanding of a few UI concepts:
• Cross-browser compatibility and implementing the responsive web design
• Familiarity with common JS visualization libraries built using D3, Chart.js, Highcharts, etc.

Devops engineer :

Roles and Responsibilities

• 3+ years of experience in Infrastructure setup on Cloud, Build/Release Engineering, Continuous Integration and Delivery, Configuration/Change Management.
• Good experience with Linux/Unix administration and moderate to significant experience administering relational databases such as PostgreSQL, etc.
• Experience with Docker and related tools (Cassandra, Rancher, Kubernetes etc.)
• Experience of working in Config management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Terraform etc.) is a plus.
• Experience with cloud technologies like Azure
• Experience with monitoring and alerting (TICK, ELK, Nagios, PagerDuty)
• Experience with distributed systems and related technologies (NSQ, RabbitMQ, SQS, etc.) is a plus
• Experience with scaling data store technologies is a plus (PostgreSQL, Scylla, Redis) is a plus
