Job Role: IT Systems Administrator Position Summary: We seek an experienced IT Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team. This role involves managing and maintaining our company's computer systems and networks to ensure seamless IT operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of our computer systems, particularly multi-user computers, such as servers. Job Location: Noida Experience: • Bachelor's degree • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)) are an asset. • A minimum of 1 years of hands-on experience in an IT systems administration role Job Responsibilities: • Prepare and configure PC setups for new employees, ensuring that all hardware is functioning correctly and is ready for use. • Maintain and manage laptops, including regular updates and repairs, to ensure optimal performance and longevity of devices. • Keep meticulous records of laptop issuance and returns, managing the inventory effectively. • Install and configure software applications, and provide routine automated updates. • Conduct troubleshooting for laptops, networked printers, and software issues, including resolving Microsoft licensing, Outlook email errors, and OneDrive issues. • Manage VPN connections, including keeping records and resolving connectivity or intranet-related issues. • Demonstrate a strong understanding of Active Directory architecture, including design and deployment. • Perform regular backups and recovery of the Active Directory system state. • Handle Active Directory replication and troubleshoot any issues that arise. • Oversee DNS backup and recovery processes. • Manage the company firewall to safeguard network security. • Administer Azure Virtual Machines, ensuring they are configured correctly and operating efficiently. • Manage Group Policy settings to enforce security standards and operational policies. • Conduct monthly vulnerability scans and generate reports to assess system security. • Respond to and resolve monitoring alerts for servers, network equipment, backup systems, and anti-virus software. • Perform routine server maintenance to guarantee system availability and reliability. • Manage Exchange user mailboxes, including setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting. What will be your key responsibilities?

Although it’s an engineering role, you will have significant involvement in product, hiring and business as well. You may expect following key responsibilities:

Engineering: You’ll need to write code – a lot of code. At the end of the day, your most important responsibility is to get your company’s product to market and maximize the number of product experiments that can be run. You’ll make key architectural decisions that will be pillars of the engineering organization for years to come. At the same time, you’ll have to make serious trade-offs to balance speed of execution with quality.

Product: As a founding engineer, you’ll also have a significant amount of ownership over the product direction. You should expect to spend time talking to customers, teasing out use cases, and making prioritization decisions regarding both the short- and long-term roadmap. In many cases, you will be building features in the absence of any formal product requirement document.

Support: You should also expect to spend a fair amount of time in the trenches supporting customers. You’ll probably find yourself engaging with customers in shared Slack channels, WhatsApp groups etc.

Hiring: As a founding engineer, you will spend a ton of time sourcing, interviewing, and closing early team members. 

Business: Finally, you’ll gain exposure to all other aspects of the business – from fundraising, to sales, and beyond. Although you probably won’t be closing deals or making pitch decks, you will certainly be expected to sell your product and pitch the company’s vision.

How do you know you are right fit for the role?

• You have at least 2-4 years of experience. You are proficient with most of the following languages/frameworks:
• NodeJS
• AWS
• Databases (both SQL and NoSQL)
• You crave ownership. If you often find yourself raising your hand to own things end-to-end, you will likely really enjoy the ownership afforded to you as a founding engineer.
• You’re okay with ambiguity. You won’t get product requirement documents or designs for everything you’re expected to build. A stellar founding engineer will know when to ask for clarity and when to make educated assumptions. If you tend to gravitate towards more loosely scoped projects, that’s a good indicator that you’ll do well in this type of role.
• You’re multidisciplinary. A typical day might include anything from several hours of coding, to a few customer conversations, to a technical brainstorm or architecture discussion, to an interview or two. 

• You operate at light speed. A great founding engineer should welcome this challenge and thrive under the pressure of intense deadlines.

• Fixed: INR 20L-30L

Skills:

* Should have excellent manual testing skills.
* Good knowledge in automation testing using Selenium WebDriver.
* Should have good written & communications skills to write the test cases and documentation.
* Good Analytical skill, Proactive, Capability of thinking through a scenario.
* Knowledge in mobile automation testing using Appium is a plus point.

Responsibilities:

• Creation of automated test scripts to reduce the amount of time and effort spent on testing.
• Strongly adhere to specification and style guides.
• Ensure the application meets the performance, quality and targets.
• Leverage new and established testing methodologies.
• Translate the given design document into proper Test Cases for maintainability.
• Work hand-in-hand with developers to understand the flow of modules and document it.

• Execution of test cases/test scripts for manual/automation testing.
• Should have working knowledge of SQL server.
• Design and create test conditions and scripts to address business and technical use cases.
• Analyze data and results of tests, record defects, provide status.
• Document, track and escalate issues as appropriate, using JIRA or similar tools/means.
• Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution.
• Build Deployment on Test Environment.

Requirements:

• Experience in end-to-end user testing for minimum 1-2 yrs.
• Have prior experience with manual testing in web and Android applications.
• Logging bugs, detailed test reports, screenshots, and videos in the bug tracker during pre-release and post-release testing.
• User & usability testing on the design prototypes being passed to the development team.
• Well versed with Agile testing methodologies.
• Opportunity to define, design, tool and implement entire Automated testing using Selenium/TestNG/Appium or any other tool of choice.
• Ability to stick to deadlines.
• Manage regular exploratory testing campaigns by employing a large number of short-term remote testers.
• Ability to operate in white-spaces where ambiguity or lack of knowledge might be imminent in tackling problems. In short, love the entire startup experience.
• Good Knowledge of Core Java.
• Good Knowledge in Selenium.
• Troubleshoot problems related to scripts, framework components,application changes, etc., and repair issues.
• Experience in working with Agile Projects and Scrum Process.
• Enable and/or perform development of test automation by designing and writing automated test scripts based on defined test cases,including the definition of test data for consumption by scripts during test execution.
• Must have experience in writing TDD and BDD test cases.
• Analyze test logs, and report test results/metrics.
