Intro is a dating app where LGBTQ South Asians find love. Built by Queer Desis in New York for the 100 million queer South Asians around the globe who deserve a space of their own. Our mission: help 1 million Queer Desis find love by the end of 2026. We’re creating a safer, more intentional, and community-driven dating experience — one that celebrates identity, culture, and connection.

The Role

We’re looking for a Founding Full-Stack Engineer who thrives in 0→1 environments. You’ll take ownership of architecture, design, and execution across backend, web, and mobile (iOS/Android) — helping shape both the product and the culture of the company.

You’ll be joining at the earliest stage — working directly with the founding team on everything from feature development to infrastructure decisions and product strategy.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable backend systems (APIs, data models, authentication, messaging, matching).
• Lead development across web and mobile clients (React, React Native, Swift/Kotlin).
• Collaborate on product design and iterate quickly on user feedback.
• Set up CI/CD, testing, and monitoring pipelines.
• Help define the tech culture, best practices, and early engineering team standards.
• Contribute to early hiring and mentorship as we grow.

Interview Process

1. AI Screen – Initial automated technical and culture-fit assessment.
2. Web Challenge – Build a small feature for the web app to demonstrate frontend and full-stack skills.
3. iOS Challenge – Build a small feature for the iOS app to showcase mobile development and design sense.
4. Android Challenge – Build a small feature for the Android app to highlight cross-platform depth.
5. Founder Chat – Meet with the Founder to discuss vision, values, and long-term fit.

Role Overview:

We’re looking for passionate mobile developers eager to build meaningful products at the intersection of education, automation, and community. You’ll work directly with the founding team on real-world projects, from MVP development to production-ready apps.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile apps using React Native (Android & iOS).
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend developers to deliver smooth user experiences.
• Write clean, maintainable code and debug production issues.
• Participate in code reviews, daily scrums, and product brainstorming sessions.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and React Native fundamentals.
• Familiarity with mobile debugging tools, navigation, and state management (e.g., Redux, Context).
• Understanding of Git, Firebase, or backend integration is a plus.
• A learning mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Final-year students or freshers encouraged to apply.

Fullstack Developer

Job description -

Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the databases, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the client applications. Apart from this you will be working actively on designing and implementing cloud infrastructure (AWS) and contribute to the overall architecture of the application.

Experience - 4+ Years

Core Requirements -

* Experience in software development and experience with e-commerce systems, relevant 3rd party integrations.

* Strong proficiency with JavaScript and Node JS.

* Shows a strong grasp of web technologies and architectural principles necessary for designing scalable, extensible and maintainable web applications and services.

*Needs to have some exposure to cloud technologies like AWS/GCP/Azure. 

* Basic understanding of object-oriented programming and relational databases, web design patterns like MVC, ORM technologies.

* Experience and familiarity with the tech stack - Node.js, MySQL, Express.js.

* Server less framework, REST, ORM Libraries. Exposure to the JAVA tech stack with technologies like Java J2EE, spring and Hibernate is a major plus point.

* Experience with developing REST APIs. Understanding of the basic principles of REST.

* Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.

* Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.

* Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
