
Façade Design Manager
Role Objective: To lead, manage, and direct the entire Façade Design Department, ensuring the
delivery of innovative, high-quality, and commercially viable façade solutions. This senior role is
accountable for the department's overall performance, strategic direction, resource management,
and technical governance, ensuring full alignment with the company's corporate objectives.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Departmental & Strategic Leadership:
o Assume full responsibility for the operational management of the Façade Design
Department, including budgeting, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.
o Develop and implement departmental strategies, technical standards, and quality
control protocols to enhance efficiency and innovation.
o Provide decisive leadership and mentorship to the entire design team, including
Senior Façade Designers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
Technical & Project Oversight:
o Hold ultimate accountability for the technical integrity, quality, and timely delivery
of all façade design projects, from conception to final execution.
o Provide expert oversight and final authority on complex design challenges,
ensuring all solutions meet the highest performance and regulatory standards.
o Ensure that rigorous performance assessments and quality checks are consistently
applied across all projects.
Stakeholder & Client Management:
o Act as the company's senior technical representative in high-level negotiations and
strategic discussions with key clients, architects, and contractors.
o Collaborate with other department heads to ensure seamless integration between
design, sales, and project execution teams.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
o Drive the research, evaluation, and implementation of cutting-edge façade
technologies, materials, and design methodologies.
o Ensure the department maintains a deep and current understanding of all local
and international building codes and regulations.
Mandatory Candidate Profile:
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is mandatory. A
Master’s degree or a professional certification in Project Management is highly preferred.
Experience: A minimum of 12-15 years of extensive experience in the façade industry, with
at least 5 years in a proven leadership or managerial capacity.
Technical Knowledge & Skills: The candidate must possess profound expertise in a wide
variety of façade materials and systems, complemented by outstanding leadership,
communication, and project management skills.
Reporting Structure:
The position reports to the Head of Façade Design.
