We are seeking a skilled and proactive Remote Printer Support Technician to join our U.S. support operations. You will assist our customers across the United States by diagnosing and resolving printer-related issues (HP, Canon, Epson, etc.) via remote tools and coordinating field service as needed.
This is a full-time position based in India, and you'll be working during U.S. time zones (EST/PST shifts). Ideal for someone with previous BPO, helpdesk, or remote support experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming support tickets and resolve issues with HP, Canon, Epson printers.
- Troubleshoot common printer issues such as connectivity problems, print quality, firmware errors, and hardware alerts.
- Use remote desktop tools to assist customers.
- Guide clients through setup, driver installation, and network printing configuration.
- Document issue resolution steps in helpdesk systems (Zoho Desk/Freshdesk).
- Escalate hardware failures to our on-site U.S. field technician partners.
- Maintain high first-time resolution and customer satisfaction scores.
- Stay up to date with printer firmware, driver updates, and error codes.
Strong knowledge of HP, Canon, Epson printers (LaserJet, Inkjet).
Experience in remote tech support/helpdesk (1–3 years preferred).
Comfortable working during U.S. night shifts.
Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
Familiarity with ticketing tools (Zoho, Zendesk, Freshdesk).
Experience with remote troubleshooting tools
Basic knowledge of Windows OS & iOS, drivers, printer configuration.
Self-motivated, proactive, and reliable in meeting SLAs.
A+ or N+ certification or similar IT support credentials.
Previous experience in international (U.S.) support processes.
Familiarity with networking (IP printing, router setups).
