React.js Developer

Position: Frontend Engg (Angular)

Exp Level: 2-4 years

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, debug and document new and existing components to ensure that our software meets business, quality and operational needs.

• Focus on scalability, speed, cross-browser compatibility, security, and availability of all applications and processes.

• Collaborate with peer organizations, devops, support organizations on technical issues and provide guidance.

• Work with a team to troubleshoot code level problems quickly and efficiently.

Required Skills:

• 2-4 years of professional software engineering experience in Angular

• Detail oriented and conscientious in implementing designs you have signed off on

• Self-motivator with strong communication skills

• Degree in computer science or a related field is preferred, but not required

• Designing and developing user interfaces using Angular best practices.

• Thorough knowledge of Angular modules, components, services, routing, web pack, material, flex box.

• Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Good to have - Experience with Agile methodologies

• Integrating front end UI with constructed APIs.

• Experience with NgRx and Rxjs for state management and reactive programming.

• Familiarity with tools like GitHub and Azure.

We are looking for a Frontend UI Developer to translate UI/UX designs and/or wireframes into User Interfaces using HTML, CSS, Javascript and jquery. He/ she will be responsible for a pixel-perfect conversion of the defined layout. They need to be competent with responsive coding/adaptation to ensure the correct rendering of the design when viewed on various formats including web, mobile, etc. The Front-end coding resource also needs to be familiar with design conventions and best practices and needs to follow the same to write easily scalable code

• Work closely with design, product management, and development teams to create elegant, usable, responsive, and interactive interfaces across multiple devices.
• Turning UI/UX designs into prototypes, creating awesome interactions from designs, writing reusable content modules, and maintainability of the code.
• Implement UI development principles to ensure that the product client-side serves at scale.
• Review and optimize usage by monitoring key metrics and rectifying the issues proactively.
• An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment and bring in optimal flow for rapidly changing design/ technology.

• 3 to 6 years of relevant work experience as a web developer, UI developer, JavaScript expert, or frontend engineer
• Sound knowledge in JavaScript, ReactJS, HTML, CSS
• Familiar with UI layouts, SASS, bootstrap, and Material UI
• Experience debugging using popular JavaScript-based tools like Chrome Developer Console

• Knowledge of TDD frameworks mocha, chai, jest etc.
• Understanding of Typescript
• Understanding of ReactJS based frameworks like NextJS, Gatsby, etc.
• Understanding of REST API
• Passionate to create good design and usability

Job responsibilities

·        Understand the current technical architecture including constraints related to platforms, standards and skillsets.
·        Review and integrate all application requirements, including functional, integration, security, performance, quality, and operations.
·        Review designs, documents and have hands-on coding exp.
·        Follow up the activities and team commitments to deliver the right solution at the right time.
·        Review and integrate the technical architecture requirements for the development and make all final decisions regarding system software.
·        Follow and adopt approaches, methodologies, and SDLC standards.
·        Apply techniques and skills required to identify a root cause of a given software integration issue.
·        Escalate encountered technical software issues to project leadership in a timely fashion and respond back consistently on time.
·        Acts as the technical subject matter expert for a product domain and the technical leader within a team
·        Leads and sets the direction for design and implementation of software features/functionality, correction of defects and/or creation of new products
·        Applies advanced systems analysis techniques to evaluate newly created code
·        Provides thought leadership and innovation within a technical domain

.       documents and communicates on complex technical topics outside the immediate development team

Qualifications:

·        Bachelor/Master’s degree in CS or Computer Engineering required
·        5+ years of programming experience in web applications development
·        Hands on Angular development experience 
·        Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
·        Working knowledge in Designing, Developing, and Deploying RESTful web services and other Web APIs.
·        Deep knowledge of Web Application Architecture and Object oriented design. Should have practical knowledge of design on more than two web applications.
·        Should be able to technically lead a small group of members

• Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in similar roles.
• JavaScript and HTML/CSS UI development experience with React and Redux.
• Solid experience with displaying charts, reports and graph data structures.
• Solid experience using REST APIs and GraphQL
• Comfortable with building UIs from mockups.
• Outstanding collaboration and communication skills. Ability to effectively collaborate with distributed team.
• Understand and practice agile development methodology.
• Prior experience working in a software product company.
