Responsibilities
- Take Ownership of Product Testing.
- Analyze requirements (functional and non-functional) and translate them into detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases.
- Design, develop, and execute manual test plans, test scenarios, and test cases based on product requirements and specifications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, UI/UX, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing (UAT) and Risk Based testing across multiple platforms.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs through their life cycle using defect management tools (e.g., JIRA)
- Conduct root cause analysis and provide recommendations for continuous product and process improvements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (development and product) to clarify requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Review and provide feedback on product documentation, requirements, and specifications.
- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, sharing best practices and promoting a quality first mindset.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Proactively contribute to the development of QA processes, standards, and tools to enhance overall testing efficiency.
