ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

 Proactively manage and keep the collaborations system operational.

 Identify new use cases, glean from various channels including trouble tickets and other end user

interactions.

 Create and implement new capabilities to support increased overall productivity.

 Collaborate with UX/service-desk teams to ensure proactive communications, training, and accurate

documentation are available to the user community.

 Optimize users’ collaboration experience, which involve computation and network enhancement.

 Develop the tool set and telemetry.

 Develop a knowledge base of self-serve steps for end-users to identify cause(s) of performance

issues.

 Work on escalated support tickets within the UCC domain.

 Stay abreast of feature releases and investigate relevance/impact to the Sompo user base.

 Research and implement alternative solutions and workarounds. Including BOTs, to fill and work

around feature gaps within standard Webex products.

 Parse through application and system logs to troubleshoot issues.

 Write Standard Operating Procedures and Knowledge Articles, as needed, for support staff.

 Operate with a focus on the telephony function.

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS

 Candidate has proficiency across the Webex suite of products, with emphasis on telephony function.

 Possess an intermediate level of IP networking knowledge.

 Candidate can troubleshoot Cisco UC systems, including Webex Control Hub.

 Candidate has demonstrated the ability to use tools including Webex Tracer, Wireshark, and Fiddler.

 Possess knowledge with Quality of Service (security concepts knowledge), as applicable to UCC.

 Candidate is comfortable to act on certificate expirations, CSR generation etc.

 Candidate has experience of enhancement abilities through Scripting and REST/XML API familiarity.

Primary skill set: QA Automation, Python, BDD, SQL 

As Senior Data Quality Engineer you will:

• Evaluate product functionality and create test strategies and test cases to assess product quality.
• Work closely with the on-shore and the offshore team.
• Work on multiple reports validation against the databases by running medium to complex SQL queries.
• Better understanding of Automation Objects and Integrations across various platforms/applications etc.
• Individual contributor exploring opportunities to improve performance and suggest/articulate the areas of improvements importance/advantages to management.
• Integrate with SCM infrastructure to establish a continuous build and test cycle using CICD tools.
• Comfortable working on Linux/Windows environment(s) and Hybrid infrastructure models hosted on Cloud platforms.
• Establish processes and tools set to maintain automation scripts and generate regular test reports.
• Peer review to provide feedback and to make sure the test scripts are flaw-less.

Core/Must have skills:

• Excellent understanding and hands on experience in ETL/DWH testing preferably DataBricks paired with Python experience.
• Hands on experience SQL (Analytical Functions and complex queries) along with knowledge of using SQL client utilities effectively.
• Clear & crisp communication and commitment towards deliverables
• Experience on BigData Testing will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge on Spark and Scala, Hive/Impala, Python will be an added advantage.

Good to have skills:

• Test automation using BDD/Cucumber / TestNG combined with strong hands-on experience with Java with Selenium. Especially working experience in WebDriver.IO
• Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
• Work experience in qTest, Jira, WebDriver.IO
