Oddr is looking for an experienced senior full-stack engineer to help us build scalable multi-tenanted enterprise Cloud applications. The ideal candidate should be able to bring new ideas to the table and design and develop distributed microservices with a strong emphasis on security, resiliency, scalability, performance, and quality. As a senior engineer, the candidate should be able and willing to mentor and guide fellow team members on best practices like code styling, efficiency, and testability as the team scales and grows. The candidate should demonstrate leadership qualities, be a self-motivated team player, and take pride in what they deliver.

The candidate should be interested in a long-term stable career to grow with our company. The candidate will need to work late night hours because of the geographic distribution of the team.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in .NET Core and C#
• Strong proficiency in React.js and its core principles
• Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS, HTML, and other standard frontend technologies and tools
• Experience with backend and frontend test automation frameworks and tools
• Strong knowledge of Cloud development concepts
• Experience with successful end-to-end delivery of web applications in the Cloud. Azure knowledge is a strong plus.

Your primary role will be to drive and grow our in-house software expertise. Working with a small software team in India and the UK, you will be responsible in understanding the requirements from various internal teams and taking ownership of software development, including backend database development and any front-end applications that will be developed in the future. Implementing AGILE methodologies, you will be responsible for delivering iterative results through regular sprints.

The software team manages a range of systems for the company, ranging from our client-facing applications to content delivery portals. You will be involved in all the projects and will contribute to developing, maintaining, and improving our systems. You will also be expected to keep on top of the latest developments in the software world and constantly check if we can make use of the latest technologies to deliver an even better user experience to both our internal and external clients. This role will suit someone who has extremely good technical skills but who is also ambitious to play a more strategic role in a growing company and build a strong team. The role may also require occasional travel to our UK headquarters and other offices around the world.
