Job Description

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to build and manage infrastructure for a FinTech product company operating with stateful microservices. The deployment environments include hybrid cloud and on-premise setups. The ideal candidate must have strong production experience with Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and infrastructure automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage infrastructure for stateful microservices (databases, queues, caching layers).
• Work on Kubernetes environments—both managed (EKS/AKS/GKE) and self-managed clusters.
• Build, enhance, and maintain custom Helm Charts for complex deployments.
• Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines using ArgoCD, FluxCD, or similar GitOps tools.
• Architect and optimize multi-tenant deployment models.
• Implement and manage high availability, load balancing, certificate management (SSL/TLS).
• Design deployment architectures based on business requirements.
• Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure including VPC, IAM, cloud networking, and security.
• Work with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools (Terraform/CloudFormation/Pulumi), including writing reusable modules.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance across production environments.
• Ensure security best practices in networking, access control, and secrets management.

Mandatory Skills

• 5+ years of DevOps experience in product-based companies (not services/consulting).
• Strong hands-on experience with stateful microservices in production.
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes (managed + self-managed).
• Strong ability to write custom Helm Charts.
• Experience with multi-tenant production environments.
• Expertise in AWS or Azure (cloud networking, IAM, VPC, security groups, etc.).
• Experience setting up GitOps-based CI/CD (ArgoCD/FluxCD).
• Strong understanding of HA, load balancing, DNS, SSL/TLS certificates.
• Ability to justify architectural decisions and propose deployment designs.
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools and writing custom Terraform/Pulumi modules.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to hybrid cloud deployments

Job Description

• Minimum 3+ yrs of Experience in DevOps with AWS Platform

• Strong AWS knowledge and experience

• Experience in using CI/CD automation tools (Git, Jenkins, Configuration deployment tools ( Puppet/Chef/Ansible)

• Experience with IAC tools Terraform

• Excellent experience in operating a container orchestration cluster (Kubernetes, Docker)

• Significant experience with Linux operating system environments

• Experience with infrastructure scripting solutions such as Python/Shell scripting

• Must have experience in designing Infrastructure automation framework.

• Good experience in any of the Setting up Monitoring tools and Dashboards ( Grafana/kafka)

• Excellent problem-solving, Log Analysis and troubleshooting skills

• Experience in setting up centralized logging for system (EKS, EC2) and application

• Process-oriented with great documentation skills

• Ability to work effectively within a team and with minimal supervision

Role:
Building and maintaining tools to automate application and
infrastructure deployment, and to monitor operations.
Design and implement cloud solutions which are secure, scalable,
resilient, monitored, auditable and cost optimized.
Implementing transformation from an as is state, to the future.
Coordinating with other members of the DevOps team, Development, Test,
and other teams to enhance and optimize existing processes.
Provide systems support,  implement monitoring and logging alerting
solutions that enable the production systems to be monitored.
Writing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Industry standard tools and
services.
Writing application deployment automation using industry standard
deployment and configuration tools.
Design and implement continuous delivery pipelines that serve the
purpose of provisioning and operating client test as well as production

DevOps

• Implementing & supporting CI/CD/CT pipelines at scale.  
• Knowledge and experience using Chef, Puppet or Ansible automation to deploy and be able to manage Linux systems in production and CI environments.  
• Extensive experience with Shell scripts (bash).  
• Knowledge and practical experience of Jenkins for CI.  
• Experienced in build & release management.  
• Experience of deploying JVM based applications.  
• Enterprise AWS deployment with sound knowledge on AWS & AWS security.  
• Knowledge of encryption technologies: IPSec, SSL, SSH. 
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Linux Systems Engineer (CentOS/Red Hat) ideally supporting a highly-available, 24x7 production environments. 
• DNS providing and maintenance.  
• Helpful skills: Knowledge of applications relying on Maven, Ant, Gradle, Spring Boot.  
• Knowledge of app and server monitoring tools such as ELK/AppEngine. 
• Excellent written, oral communication and interpersonal skills. 

Job Dsecription:

Required Experience and Expertise

○ Having a good knowledge of Terraform + someone who has worked on large TF code bases.

○ Deep understanding of Terraform with best practices & writing TF modules.

○ Hands-on experience of GCP  and AWS and knowledge on AWS Services like VPC and VPC related services like (route tables, vpc endpoints, privatelinks) EKS, S3, IAM. Cost aware mindset towards Cloud services.

○ Deep understanding of Kernel, Networking and OS fundamentals

NOTICE PERIOD - Max - 30 days

• As a DevOps engineer, you will be responsible for
• Automated provisioning of infrastructure in AWS/Azure/OpenStack environments.
• Creation of CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth delivery of projects.
• Proactive Monitoring of overall infrastructure (Logs/Resources etc)

Skills Required

• Experience in Automation of CI/CD processes using tools such as GIT, Gerrit, Jenkins, CircleCI, Azure Pipeline, Gitlab
• Experience in working with AWS and Azure platforms and Cloud-Native automation tools such as AWS cloud formation and Azure Resource Manager.
• Experience in monitoring solutions such as ELK Stack, Splunk, Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus
• Web Server/Application Server deployments and administration.

• Work experience of at least 1 year in the following are mandatory.
