Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop deep understanding of the end-to-end configurations, dependencies, customer requirements, and overall characteristics of the production services as the accountable owner for overall service operations
• Implementing best practices, challenging the status quo, and tab on industry and technical trends, changes, and developments to ensure the team is always striving for best-in-class work
• Lead incident response efforts, working closely with cross-functional teams to resolve issues quickly and minimize downtime. Implement effective incident management processes and post-incident reviews
• Participate in on-call rotation responsibilities, ensuring timely identification and resolution of infrastructure issues
• Possess expertise in designing and implementing capacity plans, accurately estimating costs and efforts for infrastructure needs.
• Systems and Infrastructure maintenance and ownership for production environments, with a continued focus on improving efficiencies, availability, and supportability through automation and well defined runbooks
• Provide mentorship and guidance to a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment. Mentor team members in best practices, technologies, and methodologies.
• Design for Reliability - Architect & implement solutions that keeps Infrastructure running with Always On availability and ensures high uptime SLA for the Infrastructure
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables related to your technical expertise and assigned domains
• Collaborate with Product & Information Security teams to ensure the integrity and security of Infrastructure and applications. Implement security best practices and compliance standards.

Must Haves

• 5-8 years of experience as Devops / SRE / Platform Engineer.
• Strong expertise in automating Infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Ansible, Packer, Terraform, Docker, Helm Charts etc.
• Strong skills in network services such as DNS, TLS/SSL, HTTP, etc
• Expertise in managing large-scale cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS and Oracle)
• Expertise in managing production grade Kubernetes clusters
• Experience in scripting using programming languages like Bash, Python, etc.
• Expertise in skill sets for centralized logging systems, metrics, and tooling frameworks such as ELK, Prometheus/VictoriaMetrics, and Grafana etc.
• Experience in Managing and building High scale API Gateway, Service Mesh, etc
• Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive
• Have a working knowledge of a backend programming language
• Deep knowledge & experience with Unix / Linux operating systems internals (Eg. filesystems, user management, etc)
• A working knowledge and deep understanding of cloud security concepts
• Proven track record of driving results and delivering high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical project stakeholders, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment. 

Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions on Microsoft Azure, with a focus on scalability, security, and cost optimization.

- Collaborate with development teams to streamline the deployment process, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery of software applications.

- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab CI to automate build, test, and deployment processes.

- Utilize infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles to create and manage infrastructure deployments using Terraform, ARM templates, or similar tools.

- Manage and monitor containerized applications using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or other container orchestration platforms.

- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for cloud-based infrastructure and applications.

- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues, working closely with development and operations teams.

- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of cloud infrastructure and applications.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and automation.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

- Minimum of four years of proven experience working as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a focus on cloud infrastructure and deployment automation.

- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure services, including but not limited to Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Service, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, Azure Security, and Azure Monitor.

- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.

- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration platforms, preferably Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or Docker Swarm.

- Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with relevant tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.

- Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation tasks.

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a proactive and analytical mindset.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure DevOps Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.

We are hiring a DevOps Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and implement Java-based applications
• Perform analysis and provide recommendations for Cloud deployments and identify opportunities for efficiency and cost reduction
• Build and maintain clusters for various technologies such as Aerospike, Elasticsearch, RDS, Hadoop, etc
• Develop and maintain continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) frameworks
• Provide architectural design and practical guidance to software development teams to improve resilience, efficiency, performance, and costs
• Evaluate and define/modify configuration management strategies and processes using Ansible

Requirements:

• Minimum 4+ years of relevant work experience in a DevOps role
• At least 3+ years of experience in designing and implementing infrastructure as code within the AWS/GCP/Azure ecosystem
• Expert knowledge of any cloud core services, big data managed services, Ansible, Docker, Terraform/CloudFormation, Amazon ECS/Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Nginx
• Expert proficiency in at least two scripting/programming languages such as Bash, Perl, Python, Go, Ruby, etc.
• Mastery in configuration automation tool sets such as Ansible, Chef, etc
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Git toolset
• Experience with automation tools for monitoring and alerts such as Nagios, Grafana, Graphite, Cloudwatch, New Relic, etc

Implementation Engineer Duties and Responsibilities

• Understanding requirements from internal consumers about program functionality.
• Perform UAT tests on application with help of test cases and prepare documents for same and coordinate with team to resolve all issues within required timeframe and inform management of any delays.
• Collaborate with development team to design new programs for all client implementation activities and manage all communication with department to resolve all issues and assist implementation analyst to manage all production data.
• Perform research on all client issues and document all findings and implement all technical activities with help of JIRA.
• Assist internal teams to monitor all software implementation lifecycle and assist to track appropriate customization to all software for clients.
• Train technical staff on all OS and software issues and identify all issues in processes and provide solutions for same. Train other team members on processes, procedures, API functionality, and development specifications.
• Supervise/support crossed-functional teams to design, test and deploy to achieve on-time project completion.
• Implement, configure, and debug MySQL, JAVA, Redis, PHP, Node, ActiveMQ setups.
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure utilizing SYSLOG, SNMP and other monitoring software.

1. Develop and Deploy Software:
1. Architect and create an effective build and release process using industry best practices and tools
2. Create and manage build scripts to deploy software in a multi-cloud environment

• Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in managing AWS resources and automating CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python or Bash be able to build and administer CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of infrastructure tools like Cloud Formation, Terraform, Ansible.
• Experience with microservices and/or event-driven architecture.
• Experience using containerization technologies (Docker, ECS, Kubernetes, Mesos or Vagrant).
• Strong practical Windows and Linux system administration skills in the cloud.
• Understanding of DNS, NFS, TCP/IP and other protocols.
• Knowledge of secure SDLC, OWASP top 10 and CWE/SANS top 25.
• Deep understanding of Web Sockets and their functioning. Hands on experience of ElasticCache, Redis, ECS or EKS. Installation, configuration and management of Apache or Nginx web server, Apache/Tomcat Application Server, configure SSL certificates, setup reverse proxy.
• Exposure to RDBMS (MySQL, SQL Server, Aurora, etc.) is a plus.
• Exposure to programming languages like JAVA, PHP, SQL is a plus.
• AWS Developer or AWS SysOps Administrator certification is a plus.
• AWS Solutions Architect Certification experience is a plus.
• Experience building Blue/Green, Canary or other zero down time deployment strategies, advanced understanding of VPC, EC2 Route53 IAM, Lambda is a plus.

Responsibilities :

- Manage a portfolio of 5+ Enterprise customer accounts with complex needs (typical enterprise customers invest between $500k and $4m+ per year with CloudPassage, have hundreds to tens of thousands of individual public cloud infrastructure deployments, and protect hundreds of thousands of cloud infrastructure assets with Halo).

- Provide level-3 technical support on your customer's most complex issues

- Lead implementation of low-level security controls in Cloud environments, for services, server and containers

- Remotely diagnose & resolve DevSecOps issues in customer environments - able to resolve their DevOps issues that may be interfering with CloudPassage processing.

- Interact with CloudPassage Engineering team by providing customer issue reproduction and data capture, technical diagnostics and validating fixes. QA experience preferred.

- Establish and program manage proactive, value-driven, high-touch relationships with your customers to understand, document and align customer strategies, business objectives, designs, processes and projects with Halo platform capabilities and broader CloudPassage services.

- Develop a trusted advisor relationship by building and maintaining appropriate relationships at all levels with your customer accounts, creating a premium and high-caliber experience.

- Ensure continued satisfaction, identify & confirm unaddressed customer needs that can be value-add opportunities for up-sell and cross-sell, and communicate those needs to the CloudPassage sales team. Identify any early CSAT issues and renewal risks and work with the internal team to remediate and ensure strong CSAT and a successful renewal.

- Be a strong customer advocate within CloudPassage and identify and support areas for improvement in the customer experience, both in our product and processes.

- Be team-oriented, but with a bias towards action to get things done for your customers.
