About the Role
We are looking for a skilled, process-oriented, and proactive Database Administrator (DBA) with 3–5 years of experience in managing enterprise databases and cloud data platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in RDBMS technologies such as DB2 and columnar cloud databases, preferably Snowflake, along with exposure to DevOps tools and containerized environments such as Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Git.

Key Responsibilities

Optimize SQL queries, indexing strategies, and database performance.
Support database migration, patching, upgrades, and capacity planning activities.

Ensure adherence to SLA, incident management, release management, and compliance procedures.
Support CI/CD and DevOps processes related to database deployments and infrastructure automation.
Collaborate with development and DevOps teams for release management and environment provisioning.
Work with containerized and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.

Maintain version control and configuration management using Git.
Monitor database health, troubleshoot incidents, and resolve performance bottlenecks.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
3–5 years of hands-on experience as a DBA or Database Engineer.
Strong experience with RDBMS technologies, specifically:
IBM DB2
Hands-on experience with columnar cloud databases: Preferably Snowflake
Strong knowledge of SQL scripting and query tuning.
Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices.
Experience with:
Kubernetes
Jenkins
Git/GitHub/GitLab
Understanding of Linux/Unix administration.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is an advantage.
Knowledge of shell scripting or Python for automation is preferred.

Summary
As a Programmer you will work in the Product Department, which engages in analyzing the business and user requirements for the product.
