Job Description: Shopify Web Developer

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Shopify Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing, customizing, and maintaining Shopify websites with a strong understanding of eCommerce best practices. The candidate should be capable of building responsive, high-performing online stores, integrating third-party applications, and delivering an excellent user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify websites and eCommerce stores.
• Build and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify APIs.
• Develop custom features and functionalities based on business requirements.
• Integrate third-party apps, plugins, payment gateways, and APIs.
• Optimize website speed, performance, SEO, and overall user experience.
• Ensure responsive, cross-browser, and mobile-friendly website development.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, debug code, and implement fixes.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Maintain website security, updates, and ongoing enhancements.
• Stay up to date with the latest Shopify features, technologies, and industry best practices.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Shopify platform and Shopify Liquid.
• Strong knowledge of Shopify theme development and customization.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web development.
• Experience with Shopify APIs, third-party app integrations, and payment gateway integration.
• Basic understanding of Git or other version control systems.
• Good understanding of eCommerce workflows, website performance optimization, and SEO best practices.

Mandatory (Experience): Must have 1+ years of experience in sales, business development, or lead generation with at least 6 months+ in B2B SaaS

Mandatory (Market Exposure): Must have direct experience selling into or prospecting the US or North America market, candidates with APAC-only or Middle East-only market exposure will not be considered.

Mandatory (Outbound Sales Execution): Must have hands-on experience in cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn prospecting, lead qualification, and demo or meeting scheduling with Account Executives, inbound only experience wouldn't be considered

Mandatory (Prospecting Tools): Must have working experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, or similar prospecting platforms in addition to CRM tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, or Freshsales.

Mandatory (Communication): Must have strong verbal and written communication skills

Mandatory (Company Background): B2B SaaS companies. Candidates from B2B Services backgrounds will be considered only if they have recent and substantial B2B SaaS exposure

Job Summary:

Role and Responsibilities

● Design and implement scalable data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and loading data from various tools and sources.

● Design data models to support data analysis and reporting.

● Automate data engineering tasks using scripting languages and tools.

● Collaborate with engineers, process managers, data scientists to understand their needs and design solutions.

● Act as a bridge between the engineering and the business team in all areas related to Data.

● Automate monitoring and alerting mechanism on data pipelines, products and Dashboards and troubleshoot any issues. On call requirements.

● SQL creation and optimization - including modularization and optimization which might need views, table creation in the sources etc.

● Defining best practices for data validation and automating as much as possible; aligning with the enterprise standards

● QA environment data management - e.g Test Data Management etc

Qualifications

● 14+ years of experience as a Data engineer or related role.

● Experience with Agile engineering practices.

● Strong experience in writing queries for RDBMS, cloud-based data warehousing solutions like Snowflake and Redshift.

● Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.

● Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

● Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.

● Strong experience with data warehousing and data lake technologies (Snowflake)

● Expertise in data modelling

● Experience with ETL/LT tools and methodologies .

● 5+ years of experience in application development including Python, SQL, Scala, or Java

● Experience working on real-time Data Streaming and Data Streaming platform.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Sales Executive or relevant role for at least 2 years
• Experience in eCommerce/SAAS/Fintech/Tech industries
• Proficiency in English
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Hands-on experience with CRM software is a plus
• Fast learner and passion for sales
