Job Title : Software Test Engineer (Manual & Automation)

Experience : 3 to 5 Years

Location : Andheri East, Mumbai

Role Overview :

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Software Test Engineer with strong experience in both manual and automation testing.

The ideal candidate should be hands-on across the complete testing lifecycle and comfortable working with modern testing tools, APIs, databases, and scripting.

Mandatory Skills :

Manual & Automation Testing, API Testing (Postman/Swagger), Load/Performance Testing, SQL/Database Queries, Basic Scripting, Test Case Design, Defect Tracking, and use of Test Management/Project Tracking Tools.

Key Responsibilities :

• Participate in all phases of the testing lifecycle: test strategy, test case design, execution, and automation.
• Perform functional, regression, API, and load testing.
• Use project tracking and test management tools effectively.
• Conduct debugging and responsiveness testing using browser developer tools.
• Work with databases to validate data through basic queries.
• Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to ensure quality delivery.
• Identify, report, and track defects with clear documentation.
• Continuously adopt new testing tools, practices, and industry standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

• Strong hands-on experience in Manual and Automation Testing.
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman/Swagger or similar).
• Experience with Load/Performance testing tools.
• Knowledge of SQL/Database querying.
• Basic scripting knowledge in any programming language.
• Familiarity with test management and project tracking tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Quick learner with a keen eye for detail and quality.

Strong Lead Data Science, / AI Engineer / Machine Learning Engineer profiles.

Mandatory (Experience 1) - Must have 10+ years of experience in Data Science, AI/ML or AI Engineering with hands-on experience building production-grade ML systems.

Mandatory (Experience 2) - Must have hands-on experience building AI/ML solutions for Credit Risk, Fraud Risk Management (FRM), Collections & Recovery, with proven delivery of business-impacting AI/ML solutions.

Mandatory (Experience 3) - Candidate's Current designation must be Lead or above.

Mandatory (Experience 4) - Must have strong experience designing and deploying large-scale distributed Machine Learning systems, including model training, fine-tuning, inference, scalable serving, and production deployment.

Mandatory (Experience 5) - Strong programming experience in Python, along with exposure to Spark, Kafka, Kubernetes, APIs/Microservices, CI/CD, Feature Store, Model Registry, and Distributed Computing.

Mandatory (Experience 6) - Experience designing and deploying Credit Risk Models, Fraud Detection Models, Graph ML, Early Warning Systems, Portfolio Monitoring, Collections Optimization, Propensity Models, and Recovery Forecasting.

Task:

• Develop, record, and maintain cutting-edge web-based PHP applications.
• Build innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the User Experience (UX) team
• Ensure HTML, CSS, and shared JavaScript is valid and consistent across applications.
• Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools.
• Utilize backend data services and contribute to increase existing data services API.
• Lead the entire web application development life cycle right from concept stage to delivery and post launch support.
• Refactor, optimize, and improve the existing codebase for maintenance and scale.
• Use test driven development and acceptance tests to ensure feature quality
• Convey effectively with all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules along with technical and process issues.
• Document the development process, architecture, and standard components.
• Coordinate with co-developers and keeps project manager well informed of the status of development effort and serves as a liaison between development staff and project manager.
• Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development.
